Connecting Patients & Health Professionals Across the South Coast

At Southcoast Health, we make it our priority to offer the highest quality of care to our patients and the community as a whole. One of the ways that we do this is by connecting with health professionals throughout our region. This allows us to give patients the most comprehensive care to meet their unique health needs.

If you are a health care professional looking to refer a patient or you need specific information about our health system, contact us online. Or, learn about setting up a direct admit of a patient to one of our hospitals.

You can also find a doctor at Southcoast Health or receive assistance with accessing medical records by calling (508) 973-3733.

Boston Children’s Hospital Collaboration

Southcoast Health and Boston Children’s Hospital have established a clinical collaboration to provide enhanced hospital-based pediatric care to children across our region. Our team of Boston Children’s physicians provide on-site pediatric care at St. Luke’s Hospital. Boston Children’s physicians also work with local emergency medicine physicians to provide care in the St. Luke’s ED, where we have a dedicated space for children, separate from the main ED, with five pediatric beds. Please call us at (508) 973-5029 with any questions or to schedule a time to meet. You can also learn more about direct admission for your patients.

Stronger Together Peer-to-Peer Support

Clinicians experience a wide variety of challenging and traumatic patient experiences, work-related stressors and upsetting personal incidents. Any of these occurrences are stressful and require understanding and support. Those who can be most supportive in these circumstances are peers. Peer support occurs when people provide knowledge, experience, emotional, social or practical help to each other.

Stronger Together is our confidential peer-to-peer support service whose members have been trained to help Southcoast Health caregivers and staff in dealing with their feelings from any type of encounter.

We have begun rolling out this much-needed program to various areas/units/departments throughout Southcoast Health. If you area has not yet launched, please still reach out to a Peer Supporter if you need someone to talk to.

You can call us and we will connect you with a trained Peer Supporter: 508-973-7171.
