Direct Admit Documentation

Pediatric Direct Admission

If you would like to arrange a direct admission to Southcoast for pediatric services, please call our transfer center at (855) 659-9090 (extension 35540 within the system). The center’s staff will conference in the on-duty Boston Children’s physician and arrange a bed at the same time, requiring you to make only one call to admit your patient to our pediatric inpatient unit.

Southcoast Health accepts direct admits from physicians across the South Coast of Massachusetts and Rhode Island.
