When valves work perfectly, blood moves in only one direction. But when heart valves don’t close tightly enough, this can allow blood to leak backward as the valves are closing. This condition is called valve regurgitation, valve insufficiency, or a “leaky heart valve.”

Join us on Thursday, February 16th at 5pm for a free online seminar with Dr. Adam Saltzman, Medical Director of the Structural Heart Program at Southcoast Health, and learn more about MitraClip therapy — a minimally invasive treatment option for people with a severe leak in the mitral valve who are too high-risk for traditional open heart surgery.

Registration is required to attend, and space is limited.
