About Adam Saltzman MD
Adam J. Saltzman, MD is the Medical Director of the Structural Heart Disease program. He earned his medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine and went on to complete a residency in internal medicine at Columbia University in New York where he was recognized as a chief resident. He then completed a fellowship in cardiovascular medicine at Columbia before returning to Boston to complete fellowships in interventional cardiology and structural heart disease at Massachusetts General Hospital.
Dr. Saltzman is a specialist in catheter based complex coronary interventions and valve procedures, as well transcatheter therapies for congenital heart disease. He is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular medicine, and interventional cardiology.

They seem very aware of what's going on with my health, but they're also very knowledgeable of what options might be available to me, and they're able to explain those options to me. Dr. Saltzman was wonderful. Even though my mom's 91 and hard of Hearing and has trouble understanding, he gave his full attention to her and then made sure that I (daughter)understood as well. Everyone in this office is so friendly and helpful. They all have great personalities and are so willing to listen and spend the time with you. The Dr is so down to earth and easy to talk to. He explains things in a way people can understand and not over our heads. He was willing to answer questions when asked by those who were with me and treated them with respect also. I never felt rushed by him and felt very comfortable, and he made me feel more at ease. I would recommend this office highly.

They are very responsive and take time to understand the complexity of multiple conditions where treatments for one condition is contraindicated in another condition, which is an almost impossible challenge in guiding care.
