The health care team at Southcoast Health wants to see our community be strong and healthy. That’s why our Southcoast Wellness Van travels across the region bringing free health screenings to your community as part of the Southcoast Community Benefits Program. In fulfilling its mission to serve others and promote the optimal health and well-being of the individuals we serve, our van provides readily available medical care for those who may not have access.

Come to a Southcoast Wellness Van site for free health screenings and services in Fall River, New Bedford, Wareham, MA and surrounding communities. We coordinate with community agencies, including schools, councils on aging, health centers and housing authorities, to reach people of all ages who need medical care.

Our van also works in partnership with the Southcoast Centers for Cancer Care and Southcoast Physicians Group to offer free cancer screenings and education.

Stop by the Van for Health Screenings & More

It’s our priority to partner with our community to reach out to people with identified health risks who may not have access to health care. The van’s staff identifies people with medical problems and refers them to physicians, community agencies or medical facilities before their medical problem becomes more serious. Our wellness van is staffed by registered nurses and certified assistants.
