About Vladimir Yufit

Dr. Yufit has been practicing primary care medicine at Southcoast since 1998. A specialist in internal medicine, he is in practice at Hanover Internal Medicine in Fall River. Previously, he was with New Bedford Medical Associates and served as a hospitalist physician at Tobey Hospital.

Dr. Yufit received his medical degree from the Grodno State Medical Institute in the Republic of Belarus. He completed a residency in anesthesiology and critical care medicine at Grodno District Hospital, as well as a residency in internal medicine at the Helene Fuld Medical Center in Trenton, N.J.

In addition to being board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, Dr. Yufit received Russian board certification in anesthesiology and critical care medicine and intensive care neonatology.

He is a member of the American College of Physicians, the American Medical Association and the Massachusetts Medical Society.

  • Yes, everything is fantastic. In fact, when I first answered the first question I hit two thinking two was the best but it should have been a four. Dr. Yufit is the best Dr. alone. I am so happy that he's my doctor and the people that work for him. He's got the best of the best and I thank them all very very much.

  • You need an N/A option on this survey: if telemedicine pertains only to the call placed and made solo by the doctor, patient has no encounter with receptionist, and therefore has no “secretarial finesse” to critique. You need to warn patients that phone number for your doctor’s inbound call is another area code and says only the name of that quite-remote telephone-exchange town; no clue “Shrewsbury”, or whatever, denotes a call from SouthCoast Health or Dr. X.

  • Due to Corona virus we had a telephone appointment with Dr Yufit. All our health concerns were addressed..

Why does Southcoast publish survey ratings online?
Southcoast is dedicated to providing patients and consumers with helpful information about the quality of our patients’ experiences. Star ratings published on our physician biography pages are based on actual responses from patients of that particular physician to patient satisfaction surveys that are distributed and processed by a national patient satisfaction survey vendor.

Who receives the survey?
Our vendor sends surveys via SMS or email to all patients seen in our outpatient physician practices who have a valid smart phone number or email address on file with Southcoast Health. Surveys are sent to patients within a few days of their appointment.

How is the Patient Satisfaction Star Rating Calculated?
Star ratings are calculated using an average of all survey responses to each of three questions: Helpfulness of Clerks & Receptionists, Provider Overall Rating, and  Willingness to Recommend Provider’s Office.  The star rating displayed on our physicians’ main biography page represents the average of the three measures for that particular physician.
