About Vladimir Yufit

Dr. Yufit has been practicing primary care medicine at Southcoast since 1998. A specialist in internal medicine, he is in practice at Hanover Internal Medicine in Fall River. Previously, he was with New Bedford Medical Associates and served as a hospitalist physician at Tobey Hospital.

Dr. Yufit received his medical degree from the Grodno State Medical Institute in the Republic of Belarus. He completed a residency in anesthesiology and critical care medicine at Grodno District Hospital, as well as a residency in internal medicine at the Helene Fuld Medical Center in Trenton, N.J.

In addition to being board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, Dr. Yufit received Russian board certification in anesthesiology and critical care medicine and intensive care neonatology.

He is a member of the American College of Physicians, the American Medical Association and the Massachusetts Medical Society.

  • I will note that the front office staff was much more courteous and professional on the day of my visit than usual. As a rule, the front office staff is usually cranky and borderline rude. The two girls today were great-refreshing-wish I knew their names.

  • No issues with my primary or receptionists. My concern is the lab at truesdable clinic. Woman was rude and condescending. I walked out and will never do blood work there again. If your with the public leave your attitude home!

  • I have been with my provider for years, following him to his new practice with you. It's been a difficult transition for both my husband and myself at times. We were used to a friendlier, more personalized practice before; now the staff is somewhat friendly, but not as before. In all fairness, is this due to Covid? Maybe,but we've been in the practice long before and well after Covid joined us here.

Why does Southcoast publish survey ratings online?
Southcoast is dedicated to providing patients and consumers with helpful information about the quality of our patients’ experiences. Star ratings published on our physician biography pages are based on actual responses from patients of that particular physician to patient satisfaction surveys that are distributed and processed by a national patient satisfaction survey vendor.

Who receives the survey?
Our vendor sends surveys via SMS or email to all patients seen in our outpatient physician practices who have a valid smart phone number or email address on file with Southcoast Health. Surveys are sent to patients within a few days of their appointment.

How is the Patient Satisfaction Star Rating Calculated?
Star ratings are calculated using an average of all survey responses to each of three questions: Courtesy and Respect of Staff, Provider Overall Rating, and  Willingness to Recommend Provider’s Office.  The star rating displayed on our physicians’ main biography page represents the average of the three measures for that particular physician.
