About Vladimir Yufit MD
Dr. Yufit has been practicing primary care medicine at Southcoast since 1998. A specialist in internal medicine, he is in practice at Hanover Internal Medicine in Fall River. Previously, he was with New Bedford Medical Associates and served as a hospitalist physician at Tobey Hospital.
Dr. Yufit received his medical degree from the Grodno State Medical Institute in the Republic of Belarus. He completed a residency in anesthesiology and critical care medicine at Grodno District Hospital, as well as a residency in internal medicine at the Helene Fuld Medical Center in Trenton, N.J.
In addition to being board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, Dr. Yufit received Russian board certification in anesthesiology and critical care medicine and intensive care neonatology.
He is a member of the American College of Physicians, the American Medical Association and the Massachusetts Medical Society.

My experience was really good. You couldn't have improved it at all. Dr. Yufitu00A0 actually showed me where he lived at one time, I mean where he was born. And he pointed out, you know, the area on the map and then he said, then we flew to the United States. So he was very informative. And he took care of me very well. And I have nothing but greatness to say about him. I was treated very well. That's about all I got to say.
Please inform the young medical assistant that they just can't speak softly, in my case where I am almost deaf, I could just about hear the young lady call my name. There's such a big turn around in medical assistants everything I have a appointment, red flag!!!!
All questions were answered. He asked me questions, which I could understand. He's a very good doctor. I've had him for quite a few years and I enjoy my visits. We discuss a lot of things. I like the guy. He's very good. I recommend him all the time.

My visits are always rushed. Most of the time, employees are friendly.
What I appreciated most from today's visit was they were able to fit me in almost immediately. I was not feeling good and they managed to get me in to see my doctor. And I saw Dr. Yufit and he listened thoroughly to my problems. He understands my health history and he was able to prescribe the needed medication that I required. So I was very pleased with today's visit.
Everyone was pleasant to talk to. Prompt, direct and answered all questions that I had.
I can't think of anything that needs improvement
Dr. Yufit showed me a chart/graph on his computer screen that really clarified why my slightly elevated creatinine level is not a cause for concern. He asked about my exercise and recommended a website that calculated for me what foods are best for my individual digestive health after I complained of dyspepsia. Visual aids are always very helpful.
This was my yearly appointment and I am very happy with Dr Youfit. He is very good and I like going to him.
