  • First thing I noticed was how organized everything seemed to be. My check in was simple and the receptionist was wonderful. When I went into the back of the office everything was so efficient and well explained whether visually by what you had on the wall, or by the person I was dealing with it. I was just impressed with how clean everything looked and how the people who dealt with me did their job. I would recommend your facility to anyone.

  • Shannon, who is the Nurse Practitioner was awesome. She understood my frustration and gave her all to compensate for that frustration that wasn't her problem to begin with. She took every step to figure out what's wrong as fast and efficient as possible, instead of trying only 1 guess at a time and then waiting 2 months before the doctor sees me and tries to pick up with another guess. Shannon looked at what all the different possibilities could be and put in tests and procedures to explore everyone of them until they know what's wrong with my abdominal pain and liver pain with some naciousness. I wish my primary care did what Shannon does and didn't take a year and a half to get a quarter of the way than what Shannon has covered.

  • If I am talking about the way the appointment was handled on the treatment that I received. It was, it was excellent. My concern. What makes it difficult is that I didn't really understand what the appointment was was full. And you know why I needed to, you know, come up to Fall River and have that appointment. So if it's that, that causes me to answer some of the questions down a little bit. The, the actual provider was excellent. She did a great job. It just, I don't understand what it was that I was up there for if you can understand that. Thank you.

Why does Southcoast publish survey ratings online?
Southcoast is dedicated to providing patients and consumers with helpful information about the quality of our patients’ experiences. Star ratings published on our physician biography pages are based on actual responses from patients of that particular physician to patient satisfaction surveys that are distributed and processed by a national patient satisfaction survey vendor.

Who receives the survey?
Our vendor sends surveys via SMS or email to all patients seen in our outpatient physician practices who have a valid smart phone number or email address on file with Southcoast Health. Surveys are sent to patients within a few days of their appointment.

How is the Patient Satisfaction Star Rating Calculated?
Star ratings are calculated using an average of all survey responses to each of three questions: Courtesy and Respect of Staff, Provider Overall Rating, and  Willingness to Recommend Provider’s Office.  The star rating displayed on our physicians’ main biography page represents the average of the three measures for that particular physician.
