  • Doctor did not make you wait. Courteous staff.

  • I find it very hard to talk with the Dr about things that I have concerns

  • I didn't have to wait at all to be taken care of. All of the staff were courteous and efficient.

  • Everyone in the office was very caring and nice. The dr.was just wonderful and has empathy for his patients you dont find that to often anymore.THANK YOU

  • Surgery went exactly like the doctor said it would.

  • Kept me well informed.. Was kind. Answered all My concered questions.

  • Staff friendly and doctor was good at explaining my options for treatment.

  • I was please with how quick the docter and tech took me and care for me and answered my questions

  • Hi, I would like to say that I had a good experience. In reference to my knee surgery, the surgery was [Profanity], but the aftermath of it all has been a great experience. I was told to go to the gym instead of physical therapy and that works wonder for my leg. So I'm grateful. Thank you.

  • Staff was very polite. Dr seemed to be rushed. Was somewhat put off by him trying to talk to me about the Bariatric program. I was there for my shoulder not my weight. Then when I said no he said well if you change your mind we a program. Like trying to recruit me.

  • My visit was thorough. Everything was great.

  • He was very courteous and very helpful.

  • The staff was very nice.

  • The provider could have been more open about what his capabilities were to my situation. If he didn't feel he could do my procedure then he should have said so earlier in this 4 month process. Now I'm beginning the process over with another doctor and it's not right.

  • Thank you for the greatest office visit experience.

  • There's one thing for a doctor to understand the challenges of pain due to injuries sustained in a gym lifting weights but it's another when he actually has the life experience!

  • Very efficient operation.

  • Dr Langworthy is the best. Always makes me feel comfortable.

  • My office visit was fine. The people I came in contact with were very pleasant, patient and understanding. My only complaint is I've been waiting 2 days for a callback from surgical booking to set up an appointment for my hip surgery. I've called twice and left a message both times.

  • On time, answered all my questions

  • Once again I did not have a satisfactory experience with Dr Langworthy. However Dr [Name] has been following me also and he is very nice and listens to me and gives me good care.

  • First time visit, and the Doctor will be able to help me where others wo n't.

  • Dr Langwothy was very nice but didn't explain anything about the surgery or the pain after the surgery. All he said is that I needed surgery and it was over. It looked like he was in a rush and didn't want me in his office.

  • Provided straightforward and knowledgeable description of my problem.

  • I trust Dr.Langworthy, this was my second surgery with the dr.and he took good care with me, with my first surgery (hip)I knew I could believe in his experience to do well by me with my second (shoulder) and I'm proud to tell everyone

  • Everything after I made the appointment went smoothly. Everyone was on schedule. And was very friendly and helpful at the appointment. I only wish I could have had an appointment sooner. However because of the holidays I understand that that was an issue.

  • I was a new patient so it took me 2 months to get an appointment but this is my first time with him and he said that if the pain came back I could come the very next day. So that is wonderful now.

  • He answered my questions. Made me comfortable.

  • I just wanted to thank you for that (unreadable) and thank you for your patience with me, thank you.

  • First visit, had my information. Did X-ray for more information. Surprised at diagnosis and treatment. I do feel he gave me enough information. May need second opinion. I kind of wish he had suggested it if I was so surprised.

  • really can't answer this question. I was seen at 3PM on New Years eve, and everyone, myself included, just wanted to go home promptly. My questions are pretty simple and can be answered at home via computer search. Will phone with questions the internet didn't answer to my satisfaction.

  • Dr Langworthy was pleasant, answered my questions and explained things clearly. I would definitely recommend him to others. I did not have the same experience at another Southcoast Orthopedics office

  • things went well for a total knee replacement It took longer than expected in recovery but Dr. Langworthy stayed with it- I believe my arthritis in my back complicated these issues.

  • Dr.Langworthy explained everything. Nurses were professional and polite.

  • Explain the situation I am in about my injury what I can and canot do

  • I would have liked to ask the doctor a few questions. He always seems insuch a hurry. (this last visit he had to rush to the hospital, and I do understand that). Excellent doctor!!

  • I was extremely impressed with dr. Langworthy attention and care

  • Generally well pleased. One suggestion. I wish Dr. Langworthy would speak slower.

  • I've only had a perfect experience with the Dr. and with every person I came in contact with and I have no relatives or neighbors in this office !!!!!!!!THANKYOU one and all !!!!

  • There was no waiting too long to be called into exam room and the time waiting for the doctor was a proper time frame.

  • The doctor was very kind, knowledgeable and understanding of my condition. Gave me insight on what to expect.

  • O love dr langworthy hes very kind

  • This experience was okay. I went in knowing that the doctor couldn't help me. I just needed a recommendation so I could get surgery through my health insurance.

  • Was checked in quickly. Would love to have had more interpersonal chatting about my condition. Office was well run.

  • Was as expected

  • This office is excellent in every way. Super friendly and they listen to you. I love them

  • Be more on time with your scheduled appointments

  • always treated with respect dr explained everything to me and o what i say would recommend dr to all my friends .

  • Nothing short of wonderful!

  • The only thing I had a hard time with is when people were talking to me with their mask on. It's very hard when a person is half deaf. Other than that everything went well.

  • I'd like to say that Dr. Langworthy was...presented as extremely competent. He let me know about the pain that I might experience. He looks like he's broadly educated. I was able to build up a great deal of confidence in him during the course of our procedure and I'm totally comfortable with the upcoming surgery.

  • Alway's The Best Service From The Whole Staff

  • my entire visit was very courteous, friendly, helpful, informative, right from the beginning when I walked in at this at the desk, to the time I left visiting the doctor. Including all the medical assistants. They couldn't have been more helpful to accommodate my needs.

  • Doctor and staff were friendly.

  • I've been to many orthopedic surgeons in my time and had 3 ACL surgery. Dr Langworthy was unusually prepared, knowledgeable, and quite engaging. However, I will say that the waiting room filled up to dangerous capacity given the covid situation - that has nothing to do with Dr. Langworthy, who remains extremely impressive.

  • Everything was great

  • Explanation of conditions thoroughly

  • This was my 1st visit with Dr Langworthy. I had a total knee replacement 4 years ago at [Name] that was never right. I’ve had pain in the knee for 4 years. Dr. langworthy listened to me and made a plan to get to the bottom of the pain and problem. NO one listened to me at [Name] I left his office with hope.

Southcoast Health physician profiles now feature star ratings.  Below, you’ll find frequently asked questions about our process for calculating the ratings.

Why does Southcoast publish survey ratings online?
Southcoast is dedicated to providing patients and consumers with helpful information about the quality of our patients’ experiences. Star ratings published on our physician biography pages are based on actual responses from patients of that particular physician to patient satisfaction surveys that are distributed and processed by a national patient satisfaction survey vendor.

Who receives the survey?
Our vendor sends surveys via SMS or email to all patients seen in our outpatient physician practices who have a valid smart phone number or email address on file with Southcoast Health. Surveys are sent to patients within a few days of their appointment.

How is the Patient Satisfaction Star Rating Calculated?
Star ratings are calculated using an average of all survey responses to each of three questions: Courtesy and Respect of Staff, Provider Overall Rating, and  Willingness to Recommend Provider’s Office.  The star rating displayed on our physicians’ main biography page represents the average of the three measures for that particular physician.
