About Michael Langworthy MD
Dr. Langworthy earned his medical degree from the University of Michigan Medical School in Ann Arbor, Michigan. He is fellowship trained in adult pelvis and major joint reconstruction at the University of California, San Diego.
A leading advisor on arthritic joint disease to the US military, Dr. Langworthy holds a clinical faculty appointment at the Naval Medical Center in San Diego. He is a current Director of Advanced Trauma Life Support for the US Navy and has published numerous papers and spoken around the world on cartilage and osteoarthritis.
Dr. Langworthy was honored as one of the Top 100 Health Care Professionals of the world in 2013 and is board certified in orthopedic surgery.

First of all, I had an appointment at 2:15. Somebody, and I was there on time, someone had an appointment at 2:30 and was taken before me. I do not think this is proper. Also, I was in there for less than two minutes and I was paying a $45 co-pay. I got little help.
Seen me quick diagnosed my issue and explained everything to me. He was also very pleasant

Treatment for knee pain
The service was excellent; I didn't have to wait long in the waiting room. They were efficient with the procedures they performed and clear with the information they gave me.
Dr. Langworthy did a great job. He listened to my worries and concerns. He's trying to help improve my health. I also need a right hip replacement, but I'm going for a CAT scan or MRI. His secretary, [Name], is wonderful to book appointments. He did a great job.
Always explains thoroughly what is going on and why? I have to have certain things done first before he can finish the service. He has to giveAnd always courteous and answers questions when asked
Felt like I was rushed out of apt. He wasn't up to date on what was happening with me . Didn't even know I had surgery.did help with ways to make my kee feel better now just said get a mri and we will talk . So I have to be in pain for 5 week because he wanting see me in 3 and there wasn't any openings

Very happy with this provider now and on the past
The experience went well. I understand more about my knee. I was given a brace to wear for a month and then I will have another appointment with the provider.
I was very, very happy with my experience. Dr. Langworthy exudes confidence. I was very nervous about having this procedure done, but after speaking with him, I feel totally at ease with what the whole experience will be like. So I'm very happy. The rest of the staff were really, really, very nice. And yes, I'm overall very happy with it.

I saw Dr, Langworthy, he already performed 3 surgeries on me in the past 2 years, I am extremely happy with the results, especially my right hip surgery, I forgot that surgery never existed, is that good.

Friendly staff. Comfortable atmosphere
The o.v. moved along pretty well. I didn't have to wait long at all. This was my first time with this doctor. He talked and moved along quickly. I didn't realize until I got home that he did not review results from the x-rays done when I first arrived, before seeing the doctor. He seemed to be paying attention when I spoke of my injuries and the areas of pain, but I did feel rushed through the appointment.
I would recommend Dr. Langworthy to anybody. He's the best doctor of all. And I am very satisfied with his service. Thank you. God bless you.

I called to make an appointment and got one immediately that week. When I arrived for my appointment, the receptionist was most cordial and helpful. Dr. Langworthy met with me a few minutes before my appointment. Very satisfied with the service all the way around.
This patient felt there was no conversation about medical procedure( just a booklet of as given to read). Also no recommendations or conversation as to deal with current pain.Patient felt rushed during the office visit
