  • He took the time to explain my problem and what my options for treatment are.

  • Dr. Langworthy sets the tone for his entire orthopedic team - nothing less than excellent. He is 'the Best', and everybody else is too.

  • I was impressed by Dr. Langworthy's medical knowledge and informative manner.

  • To long a wait.

  • Everyone was very helpful, pleasant and extremely good at what they do. Very knowledgeable.

  • He was very concerned about my health and my pending kidney cancer surgery scheduled for February 4th

  • The appointment has to be re-scheduled 2 time by the Dr. but I was in and out of the office quickly and with the information I needed to make a decision about treatment. My only concern is that when I made the original appointment, I called to confirm the online appointment. I asked if a new referral was needed since I had seen a different doctor for the same issue. I was told no. When I arrived for the appointment I was asked about having a referral. I have since asked my PCP to send the referral. However, it would have been more convenient to have had the information ahead of time, as the office and South Coast have had my insurance information for close to 4 years.

  • Dr Langworthy identified other orthopedic problems and referred me for appropriate treatment

  • The providers are very good in this office. The problem which has happens a lot in this office is the front desk. Nit that the staff that works the front desk is nit good or trained well. They only usually have one person working, doing check in, check out, making appointments, calling registration do to errors on insurances, answering phones. The lines back up to 10 to 12 people in line. Some patients on crutches, in cast on legs, foot. Patients should not have to wait in line like that for a 1/2 hour. The office does have issues with this.

He fulfilled on moving to the account rep. for scheduling, the follow up was incredibly great. And during this survey, it was a point where I has hit the number 1 button, 3 or 4 times, and it may have skipped over a series of questions if that's the case I assure you that all of my answers were in the affirmative of excellence. Southcoast Health physician profiles now feature star ratings.  Below, you’ll find frequently asked questions about our process for calculating the ratings.

Why does Southcoast publish survey ratings online?
Southcoast is dedicated to providing patients and consumers with helpful information about the quality of our patients’ experiences. Star ratings published on our physician biography pages are based on actual responses from patients of that particular physician to patient satisfaction surveys that are distributed and processed by a national patient satisfaction survey vendor.

Who receives the survey?
Our vendor sends surveys via SMS or email to all patients seen in our outpatient physician practices who have a valid smart phone number or email address on file with Southcoast Health. Surveys are sent to patients within a few days of their appointment.

How is the Patient Satisfaction Star Rating Calculated?
Star ratings are calculated using an average of all survey responses to each of three questions: Courtesy and Respect of Staff, Provider Overall Rating, and  Willingness to Recommend Provider’s Office.  The star rating displayed on our physicians’ main biography page represents the average of the three measures for that particular physician.
