  • I called the day before and got an appointment the next day. I am very pleased because the pain in my shoulders was tremendous. The staff and provider are exceptional. They have always been very pleasant, helpful and polite.I am very happy with this office.

  • There's nothing that could have improved my experience. Great experience in all aspects!

  • The medical assistant was quite thorough asking questions about my knee condition and typing in my comments while I described it. Also, Dr. Blatz was quite thorough in his physical exam of my knee and patiently described the facts of arthritis and how to treat it. I left feeling that I had all of my questions answered and my concerns allayed.

  • Very friendly staff. Dr Baltz explained everything to us using the Mri so that we could understand what is the best outcome and worst. Very very honest.

  • Excellent information

  • Almost no waiting time. And best of all, they listened to me and explained what was going to be done.

  • Thank you! I was very happy with my overall experience so there's to improve

  • Quick and efficient friendly

  • No issues with Wareham Orthopedics. Everyone is super nice and helpful.

  • No improvement needed!

  • very pleased with the staff at southcoast health orthopedics. very efficient and professional.. very happy with dr. baltz's care.

  • Answered all my questions plus gave me information that I hadn't asked about.

  • Was greeted with a smile. Taking in on time. Dr. Baltz listened to what my problem was. Answered my questions. His office called and made an appointment for me with specialist. And called me with appointment date and time. Very Profesional

  • Great friendly staff snd Dr. Baltz is great.

  • Everyone was courteous and professional.

  • I appreciate the prompt service! The front desk reception/check out staff were pleasant as was the medical assistant and x-ray technician. Dr. Baltz is clearly knowledgeable and I appreciate and agree with his treatment recommendations. I wish, however, the x-ray was taken after he examined me since the area of concern was in a different area as the pain was radiating to the area where the x-ray was taken. If I have future Orthopedic issues, I will likely search for another doctor. Dr. Baltz while clearly knowledgeable, seemed to lack empathy and bedside manner. I certainly understand we all have bad days and are overwhelmed! However, I left feeling like a burden which is not conducive to healing.

  • Staff was nice. Doctor was unprepared and did not listen to me when I tried to explain my problem. He was rude several times and insensitive. I still am not sure was is wrong with my hip.

  • Appointment within 3 days of calling for appt.

  • Excellent first time experience with this practice.will recommend to family/friends.

  • No problems at all, great job

  • Everything was great

  • Have been to Dr. Baltz before this incident and have been very satisfied....Dr. B also treated my husband for carpal tunnel, operating on him after nerve tests....Husband was very satisfied as well....in fact, he will be returning in January to have his left hand treated......Dr. Baltz is professional yet friendly.....a nice combo!!!!

Southcoast Health physician profiles now feature star ratings.  Below, you’ll find frequently asked questions about our process for calculating the ratings.

Why does Southcoast publish survey ratings online?
Southcoast is dedicated to providing patients and consumers with helpful information about the quality of our patients’ experiences. Star ratings published on our physician biography pages are based on actual responses from patients of that particular physician to patient satisfaction surveys that are distributed and processed by a national patient satisfaction survey vendor.

Who receives the survey?
Our vendor sends surveys via SMS or email to all patients seen in our outpatient physician practices who have a valid smart phone number or email address on file with Southcoast Health. Surveys are sent to patients within a few days of their appointment.

How is the Patient Satisfaction Star Rating Calculated?
Star ratings are calculated using an average of all survey responses to each of three questions: Helpfulness of Clerks & Receptionists, Provider Overall Rating, and  Willingness to Recommend Provider’s Office.  The star rating displayed on our physicians’ main biography page represents the average of the three measures for that particular physician.
