Greg Goodwin received his Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Northeastern University in Boston.

His certifications include Board Certified Physician Assistant and Board Certified Athletic Trainer.

His clinical interests include knee and shoulder injuries and joint replacements.

  • The follow-up visit went as well as expected.

  • My check in was immediate and polite. I was called for my appointment with a minimal wait. Someone attended to checking me in and explained what would occur and in what order. I changed and almost immediately was taken for Xrays, returned to my room and my PA-C came in, showed and explanined my Xrays, what they meant and how I should proceed with my situation. All was quick but not rushed, polite and professional. Thank you all for your service.

  • First off all they were really fast but I felt like they wernt listening the brace they gave me I told them there wasnt any saport on my ankle ,I was told pretty much .. if I didn't like it to use the air cast I got from hospital ,my whole visit was about 5 min they didnt do anything really I told then the foot thing they gave me wasnt spotting my ankle in the wright spot .it didnt seem to matter so I ended up just agreeing with them and left ..was like they didnt want to listen that the brace they gave me .wasn't going to help ,the heal part didnt fit ,,when I got home I put a ace bandage back on as it sported my ankle more than that thing they gave me ,I proberly wont go back their again thankyou

  • Eye to eye engaging patient. Appropriately questions well prepared for my visit. Very professional very cordial, very respectful, very timely and very efficient.

  • The physicians assistant was great. The X-ray tech was very helpful and explained a few things to help with my care. The nurse was not helpful or friendly, seemed to not care.

  • Had hip replacement surgery last year with Dr [Name] and Greg Goodwin , PA. Had a great check up.They are the best and I have referred my friends to see them. I have a great new hip and am just like new!

  • I thought Greg Goodwin was excellent and I thought he was very informed about my case. But I was very very disappointed when he mentioned that the records don't go back as far as the first procedures that I had done Orthopedicaly. I would hope that these medical records even when computer systems as switched could be updated and sent to the provider that seems to happen very often with medical records people to blame the new computer system for not having records that go very far back. In the olden days paper records lasted forever. I wish someone could take the time and energy to do that with the computer systems. But overall Greg Goodwin was excellent and I don't blame him for not knowing that*

Why does Southcoast publish survey ratings online?
Southcoast is dedicated to providing patients and consumers with helpful information about the quality of our patients’ experiences. Star ratings published on our physician biography pages are based on actual responses from patients of that particular physician to patient satisfaction surveys that are distributed and processed by a national patient satisfaction survey vendor.

Who receives the survey?
Our vendor sends surveys via SMS or email to all patients seen in our outpatient physician practices who have a valid smart phone number or email address on file with Southcoast Health. Surveys are sent to patients within a few days of their appointment.

How is the Patient Satisfaction Star Rating Calculated?
Star ratings are calculated using an average of all survey responses to each of three questions: Courtesy and Respect of Staff, Provider Overall Rating, and  Willingness to Recommend Provider’s Office.  The star rating displayed on our physicians’ main biography page represents the average of the three measures for that particular physician.
