About Christian Dee MD
Dr. Dee graduated with honors from the University of Wales with a bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from Leicester University Medical School in the U.K., and then completed an internship in general surgery at the State University of New York at Stony Brook followed by a residency in Orthopedic Surgery.
After completing fellowship training at the University of California, San Francisco, Dr. Dee moved back home to New England. He spent 12 years in private practice in Connecticut and has enjoyed treating patients with a variety of orthopedic conditions including knee, hip and upper extremity problems such as work-related injuries and carpal tunnel syndrome.
Dr. Dee performs the most current arthroscopic and total joint procedures of the knee, hip and shoulder and is trained in the latest robotic partial knee replacement technology. Dr. Dee is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and he is board certified in Orthopedic Surgery.

I had my first visit with Dr. Dee. He was very kind and addressed my concerns. He was genuinely concerned about my health.
It was a wonderful experience. Right on time, check in so efficient, seen by doctor as soon as I was done with the nurse. X-rays done and reviewed within 5 minutes. Doctor explained everything so I had no problem to understand what he was saying. I have never broken any bones until now so wasn't sure what to expect. Everything was wonderful. Dr. Dee is great and the staff is very kind. The only issue, it took me 4 weeks to get an appointment. I explained I was in a lot of pain with my left hip. I worked through the pain while I worked. I had to take medications just to function.

Don't change a thing. The time from walking in the door for my visit till leaving was approximately 30 minutes. I was addressed by staff right upon my arrival in the office. Listened to what I was complaining about and explained in detail what my options were. Did not feel pressured to do anything right away and was given several options to choose from.
I had to wait longer than I wanted to for the actual appointment because they were so booked up. But I appreciated the kindness right at the door with check-in. She was so kind and helpful in each individual on the staff that handle different things was kind fun to talk to and when I seen the doctor, he was the same. I would highly recommend based on my first experience there.
Dr Dee spent a lot of time with me, reviewed my chart thoroughly and offered me some good suggestions for future treatment. I was impressed that his office has x-ray equipment on site and the staff person who performed the X-rays was very efficient and pleasant.

This visit was a waste of my and doctor time with meeting goal for surgery should of had my next visit with prep nurse . To see how close need to have a knee replaced
