About Christian Dee MD
Dr. Dee graduated with honors from the University of Wales with a bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from Leicester University Medical School in the U.K., and then completed an internship in general surgery at the State University of New York at Stony Brook followed by a residency in Orthopedic Surgery.
After completing fellowship training at the University of California, San Francisco, Dr. Dee moved back home to New England. He spent 12 years in private practice in Connecticut and has enjoyed treating patients with a variety of orthopedic conditions including knee, hip and upper extremity problems such as work-related injuries and carpal tunnel syndrome.
Dr. Dee performs the most current arthroscopic and total joint procedures of the knee, hip and shoulder and is trained in the latest robotic partial knee replacement technology. Dr. Dee is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and he is board certified in Orthopedic Surgery.

Doctor should welcome patient's questions and explain the healing process. Also, insurance should not be the determining factor for diagnosis of a health problem. If an MRI is needed to understand why I cannot move my arm than it should be provided without impediment of an insurance agency.

All the staff was professional, courteous and knowledgeable.
Dr. Dee is pleasant and courteous but he does not explain the procedures. My followup summary on MyChart was a basic form letter with no comment about the results of my Xray or treatment. All of my other Southcoast providers will send a personal note explaining the findings of test results so I can understand. This is very disappointing.

Staff very respectful, and professional. Would have liked for Dr Dee to have been able to view X-rays from visit 3 years ago. Not sure from his notes that he understood that this complaint is not a result of increased walking. Rather it occurred when I started walking on pavement as opposed to the trails I walked on all summer.
Dr. Dee is an exceptional surgeon and provider. Throughout my surgery, recovery, rehab and follow ups he has been great. He's very informative and communicative during visits and most importantly... he listens!
Dr. D was very busy, but he did take time with me, and he was very much in control and kind and very professional, and he deserves a raise, like all the other physicians. They're just so busy and overburdened with patients. I just saw so many patients coming in and out. Very, very busy. They deserve a raise, a financial raise, to meet with the cost of living that has been going up and up and up. Cost of living, a raise for them, for all physicians. Thank you.

I had my first visit with Dr. Dee. He was very kind and addressed my concerns. He was genuinely concerned about my health.
It was a wonderful experience. Right on time, check in so efficient, seen by doctor as soon as I was done with the nurse. X-rays done and reviewed within 5 minutes. Doctor explained everything so I had no problem to understand what he was saying. I have never broken any bones until now so wasn't sure what to expect. Everything was wonderful.
