Southcoast Health and the Gloria Gemma Breast Cancer Foundation team up to offer mindfulness program to community

FAIRHAVEN, Mass. — Southcoast Health announced today that it will team with the Gloria Gemma Breast Cancer Resource Foundation to offer a series of wellness sessions, entitled Mindfulness & You.

This six-week series, which is free and open to the public, will take place on the second Monday of each month beginning April 9 from 5 to 6:30 p.m. in the second floor conference room of the Southcoast Centers for Cancer Care located at 206 Mill Road in Fairhaven.

Dawn Penta, owner of Contempo Hair Design in North Providence R.I., will host the program. She is a Chopra Center Certified Health and Wellness Educator, who teaches Primordial Sound Meditation, Yoga, Perfect Health and Reiki at her salon and at the Gloria Gemma Breast Cancer Resource Foundation.
