National Volunteer Week

During National Volunteer Week (April 21 – 27), we shine a well-deserved spotlight on our invaluable volunteers and thank them for the countless ways they support our employees and patients.

Many of you have seen the value of the pet therapy dogs, musical talent, Reiki healing, School to Career students, hospice care, baby cuddlers, greeters, gift shop staff and more. Our volunteer Southcoast Ambassadors and Patient Family Advisory Council members are essential to our success and key to delivering on our mission to provide clinical excellence and a uniquely caring experience to every life we touch.

Volunteerism proves that one person can make a huge difference just by showing empathy and kindness. By lending a hand or brightening someone’s day with a smile, these amazing individuals bring healing to our patients, and we are so grateful for their willingness to give their time, energy and talents.

Please join us in celebrating our wonderful volunteers with a warm smile or a “thank you” – this week and every week of the year.
