Effective Monday, January 31, 2022 – Pre-Admission Testing will be moving from each hospital location to:  300D Faunce Corner Road, Dartmouth.


Effective Tuesday, January 18, 2022, Southcoast Health Rheumatology and Infectious Disease appointments previously scheduled at Charlton Memorial Hospital, will be temporarily relocated to 235 Hanover Street, Ground Level, Fall River, MA. Please contact your provider’s office should you have any questions.

Special update on our 235 Hanover Street, Fall River location:

  • Lab Services at 235 Hanover Street in Fall River is now on the first floor/Suite 1010 (with Rehab Services). They were previously located on the ground floor.
  • Nutrition Services has moved out of 235 Hanover Street and is now at the 373 New Boston Road, Fall River location.

IMPORTANT EMERGENCY NOTICE: PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT AS OF MONDAY, NOVEMBER 2, 2020 AT 7AM, ALL TOBEY HOSPITAL EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT VEHICULAR TRAFFIC IS BEING DIVERTED TO AN ALTERNATE EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT ACCESS LOCATED ON THE HOSPITAL CAMPUS AT 43 HIGH STREET. THE ACCESS ON MAIN STREET IS CLOSED FOR CONTRUCTION UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.

  • Separating patients with suspected and confirmed COVID-19 from other patients
  • Mandatory masking/face coverings for all staff and patients
  • Strict social distancing requirements – every 6 feet
  • Screening of all staff, patients and escorts
  • Rigorous cleaning and disinfection protocols between patients and every 2 hours
  • Clean air filtration systems in our hospitals
  • Personal Protective Equipment for all staff in accordance with PPE guidelines
  • Testing all patients admitted to our hospitals for COVID-19
  • Telehealth options available and scheduled when appropriate
