About Ye Tun MD
Dr. Tun earned his graduate degree from the Institute of Medicine 1, Yangon, Myanmar.
He completed a residency in Internal Medicine at SUNY Downstate Medical Center before embarking on a fellowship in Nephrology at Boston University/Boston Medical Center. He has also worked as an Internist at Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro.
Dr. Tun is a member of the American Society of Nephrology, American Medical Association and the Massachusetts Medical Society.
He is fluent in Burmese and enjoys playing soccer, music and traveling.

I felt at ease, nurse greeted me with a welcoming smile, took my vitals. Prepared me for the Dr. Tun. Who explained everything in detail and inquired if I understood his explanation. Very thorough.
I was so impressed with Dr. Tun. I had not seen him after my hand had been amputated and my kidneys failed. This was the first time and he knew everything from my chart. He showed me my numbers from July 29 and what they were now. I was back to my baseline numbers. That was great to hear. He explained to me what had happened.
I don't know of anything that could be improved upon.Staff doesn't need to ask about improving my health, they clearly understand my disability and are very attentive . I use transport with wheelchair for doctors' visits.Dr Tun clearly reviews visits with my other doctors as we discuss them, he prompts these discussions.Overall very pleased with Dr. Tun and his staff.
Hi, I can't say enough about Dr. Tun. He is absolutely refreshing in the medical field. Wish they all had what he has going on because he's right on. I would highly recommend him and definitely was very happy with his explanation and layman's terms and cannot say enough about him.

The provider was absolutely amazing. He listened to our problems and he helped us with whatever we needed. The secretary and the medical assistant were also very polite. They got us an appointment as fast as possible. They were able to help us with what we needed and our time schedules and the doctor was pretty amazing. So yes, we are very satisfied.
