- Serious wounds or injuries (uncontrollable bleeding)
- Severe pain (head, neck, or abdominal)
- Severe allergic reactions, or anything else you believe to be an emergency

About W. Scott Keigwin
Dr. Keigwin is a family practice physician with Southcoast Physicians Group in Tiverton, R.I.
He received his doctor of osteopathic medicine from Kansas City University in Kansas City, Mo.
He completed his residency at Dartmouth Family Practice Medical Center in Lebanon, N.H., and Augusta, Maine, and his internship at Lutheran Medical Center in New York City.
Dr. Keigwin is an associate professor at the Alpert Medical School at Brown University. He was the medical director of hospice at Visiting Nurse Services of Newport and Bristol Counties.
He is also a member of the American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Care and certified in medical acupuncture.
He is certified by the American Board of Family Practice.
