  • From the beginning of my appointment to the end was great

  • This was my initial visit with Dr. Dacunha. I have already recommended her to my family and friends. She is wonderful. She reviewed my history and listened to my concerns. Hopefully I won't have to see my PCP much, but I know she's there if I need her.

  • I like Dr daCunha but she did not seem to be aware of the nerve pain and subsequent 4 months of PT that I went through this past year ~ she is very practical and frank which I appreciate but she was a bit rushed up and I had an early appointment

  • When I had a PT Scan last year, the provider never gave me the results, but sent me to a specialist, who did not know me or me her, and she had to give me bad news. I was really upset about this, as I have had my provider for over 5 years, and expected her to explain the scan results to me before sending me on to another doctor.

  • No one in the office talk to me about how I was managing it was a piece of paper with 100 questions on it, and you filled it in whether anybody looked at it or not I don't know.

  • Nothing is worse than feeling rushed and not able to voice any concerns! Annual Physical which was pointless .. The MA even sounded like a loud recording very unpersonable. I will be forwarding my care to appropriate facilities that will listen and care! As an employee in PCP care this was a very unpleasant and disappointing experience!

Yes, the health care provider that I saw the Dr. Dacunha was absolutely insistent that we got to everything all my needs and she addressed them and I walked out feeling comfortable that everything that I was going to do and what's going to happen was going to enhance my ability to become even more healthy than I am and that's a good feeling. So there you have it. I feel very good about seeing her. Alright. Thank you.

  • My only concern is getting the phone line through on my cellphone. When I call the number back from my cellphone's voicemail message for precheck, it leads me to the main number. Then I must wait in a que.

  • Yes, I was unable to do a virtual appointment because my reception where I live was too poor. I could hear them. They couldn't hear me but they immediately got me an appointment within a week. I was pleased to get an early appointment early in the morning. And as I said, I've been pleased to be in this practice, but I really had been afraid going to the doctors to due to covid. So I wanted to do it virtually but that didn't happen but they got me in and I was pleased about that. And she's always listen to anything I've had for needs and I needed a referral for a neurologist and she got one someone that was in the practice to see me within a few oh two weeks I think. So I am pleased.

  • Doximity doesn't work, I was unable to use my smart phone for a face to face with my Doctor. I won't know if it works until the next time my Doctor sets up another teleconference there is no method to work out problems with this app. I talked with them directly and all they said was "wow we've never seen anything like that before!". Might be my last teleconference this was my second try. Please help.

Why does Southcoast publish survey ratings online?
Southcoast is dedicated to providing patients and consumers with helpful information about the quality of our patients’ experiences. Star ratings published on our physician biography pages are based on actual responses from patients of that particular physician to patient satisfaction surveys that are distributed and processed by a national patient satisfaction survey vendor.

Who receives the survey?
Our vendor sends surveys via SMS or email to all patients seen in our outpatient physician practices who have a valid smart phone number or email address on file with Southcoast Health. Surveys are sent to patients within a few days of their appointment.

How is the Patient Satisfaction Star Rating Calculated?
Star ratings are calculated using an average of all survey responses to each of three questions: Courtesy and Respect of Staff, Provider Overall Rating, and  Willingness to Recommend Provider’s Office.  The star rating displayed on our physicians’ main biography page represents the average of the three measures for that particular physician.
