  • I have been a patient at Dr. [Name]'s office for 30+yrs. I love Dr [Name] & would love to see him more than my every 6 month appts. I wish I could get an appt for a sick visit like this one was for diverticulitis. Dr [Name] called me when I got diagnosed w breast cancer. The one time I called during after hours he called me back personally & said I know it is serious bc I have never heard from u afterhrs. This was my 1st visit w NP Stacy. She took her time going thru everything with me about my history & colonoscopy report. She was compassionate & took my concerns seriously. She explained everything concisely & I left with a confident plan of action of antibiotics for 7 days & future catscan. She made sure that I knew I can call with any issues & made sure I knew what symptoms to look out for. I was pleased w this visit.

  • So she answered all my questions, she did a good job, very thorough, but she said that someone would be calling me back because of the reason why I called to set me up with another specialist, and no one's called me back yet. So that's like a thing I got to do - instead of you guys following up with me, I got to follow up with you and and pursue it myself. Yeah - other than that, it was good. Thanks.

  • Hi, Stacey is not only very thorough, but caring, listened very well and was very concerned of the pain I was going through and she was very informative with the different medications that I could take, considering that I am very allergic to many medicines. So, I was very happy that she took the time to go over everything with me and I appreciate Stacey so much because she literally saved my life 2 years ago by sending me for a test to find out, coincidentally, that I ended up with endometrium cancer. So, I just think so much of your Physician's assistants, all of them in this office.

  • Well, first of all when I called I was not expecting to be given an appointment to come in right away. So that was really good surprise. And then Stacey went over all kinds of possibilities for the issue that I had and she even pursued other avenues to see, you know concerning my thyroid or restless legs or anything like that. So she was extremely thorough and explained what blood work she was going to send me for and why.

Why does Southcoast publish survey ratings online?
Southcoast is dedicated to providing patients and consumers with helpful information about the quality of our patients’ experiences. Star ratings published on our physician biography pages are based on actual responses from patients of that particular physician to patient satisfaction surveys that are distributed and processed by a national patient satisfaction survey vendor.

Who receives the survey?
Our vendor sends surveys via SMS or email to all patients seen in our outpatient physician practices who have a valid smart phone number or email address on file with Southcoast Health. Surveys are sent to patients within a few days of their appointment.

How is the Patient Satisfaction Star Rating Calculated?
Star ratings are calculated using an average of all survey responses to each of three questions: Courtesy and Respect of Staff, Provider Overall Rating, and  Willingness to Recommend Provider’s Office.  The star rating displayed on our physicians’ main biography page represents the average of the three measures for that particular physician.
