  • I felt that the medical assistant and my health care provider wanted the best for me at my visit today. I can't thank them enough. Also the check in and check out staff were pleasant. The check out staff took the time to help book my appointment for bloodwork (which I hadn't done since before COVID).

  • Dr. Theroux and the nurse practitioner treated me well and are very concerned that I treated well.

  • Stacey was very helpful when she called, I had called the day before. Requesting a call back. I left a spoke with a woman at the front desk and less the message not on the answer machine. But at the office and it was related to a covid test, which was positive and the woman that I spoke to relay the message, I actually never heard back from anybody, but she said in the message that it was a negative covid test that I had, even though, I had specifically told her, it was a positive covid test. So you know, not having relay the correct information to whomever. That's probably why I never got a call back. So, the following day I had to call back again and leave a second message for someone to call me back regarding my covid symptoms.So that's not Stacey's fault. She was very helpful when we had our phone Converse conference, but I do know, whomever is taking messages at the front desk should be spoken to. Thank you.*

  • The nurse who took my vitals was very good and kind. Stacy was thorough and answered any questions I had and I was very comfortable with her.

  • Felt as though provider was unprepared for my appointment. Made the appointment with a specific issue and they didn't have any answers as to a course of treatment. It also felt as if the issues I am concerned about were dismissed as not that bad and I was in a mental health crisis and begging for help.

  • Yes, I had a great experience with Stacey but since the appointment I have had multiple text messages regarding a Fast Pass offered by my chart where it tells me to sign into my chart and you have to go into either this not choose to move the appointment or to keep the appointment that I've never had this before I call the number, and nobody seems to be able to help me. They gave me another number. Those people are saying that I should call the doctor's office. So this is becoming very labor intensive and draining my time and my energy, so therefore I am very disgusted with the whole thing.

  • I was seen by Stacy/ nurse practitioner at Dr. Abuluazeed's office . I love Stacy she is great ! She's excellent as a nurse practitioner. Dr. [Name] and all his staff our very warm and welcoming. I would recommend this office to any of my family or freinds.

  • At this provider you always getan immediate appointment and you get into an office and see a nurse and doctor or nurse practioner immediately. You never feel rushed and you feel listened to. However on this particular visit, in reading the notes afterwards, I noticed some errors which I found very confusing because this has never ever happened before. However I was an add on appointment and did not see my usual provider which might have led to some rushing and thus some errors.

  • Everyone in the office was courteous, friendly and professional. I was seen on time, Stacey was friendly and covered everything important in a timely fashion. Very satisfied. Cannot think of anything to improve.

  • She was concerned about my problem and reminded me of my flu shot.

  • Hi, everything was fine at my appointment the only thing I did receive a flu shot and I had a reaction ,it was in my left arm my arm got all red and swollen and hot. I just want to have that noted in my record. I don't know why that happened, I've never had a reaction like that before, but just to, you know, be in my record okay thank you.

Why does Southcoast publish survey ratings online?
Southcoast is dedicated to providing patients and consumers with helpful information about the quality of our patients’ experiences. Star ratings published on our physician biography pages are based on actual responses from patients of that particular physician to patient satisfaction surveys that are distributed and processed by a national patient satisfaction survey vendor.

Who receives the survey?
Our vendor sends surveys via SMS or email to all patients seen in our outpatient physician practices who have a valid smart phone number or email address on file with Southcoast Health. Surveys are sent to patients within a few days of their appointment.

How is the Patient Satisfaction Star Rating Calculated?
Star ratings are calculated using an average of all survey responses to each of three questions: Courtesy and Respect of Staff, Provider Overall Rating, and  Willingness to Recommend Provider’s Office.  The star rating displayed on our physicians’ main biography page represents the average of the three measures for that particular physician.
