About Sophia Rizk MD
Dr. Rizk graduated from Tufts University and received her Doctor of Medicine from New York Medical College. She completed her internship, residency and chief residency in Internal Medicine, followed by her fellowship in Hematology and Medical Oncology at the Warren Alpert Medical School at Brown University. She is board certified in internal medicine.
Dr. Rizk belongs to a number of professional societies, including the American Society of Hematology and the American Society of Clinical Oncology and is a member of the Massachusetts Medical Society, Rhode Island Medical Society and American College of Physicians.
Dr. Rizk loves to share her skills through volunteer work, participating in numerous teaching roles at her alma mater Brown University, and by working on many published studies and papers. She is proficient in Spanish and Greek.

It would be nice to be asked if it was OK to have additional staff present in the treatment room BEFORE bringing that additional person in the room and then asking the patient if it was Ok if they stayed (didn't bother me at all, but if my wife was the patient, she would have felt that she was 'put on the spot' to agree to it.Just a suggestion… :)
