About Sophia Rizk MD
Dr. Rizk graduated from Tufts University and received her Doctor of Medicine from New York Medical College. She completed her internship, residency and chief residency in Internal Medicine, followed by her fellowship in Hematology and Medical Oncology at the Warren Alpert Medical School at Brown University. She is board certified in internal medicine.
Dr. Rizk belongs to a number of professional societies, including the American Society of Hematology and the American Society of Clinical Oncology and is a member of the Massachusetts Medical Society, Rhode Island Medical Society and American College of Physicians.
Dr. Rizk loves to share her skills through volunteer work, participating in numerous teaching roles at her alma mater Brown University, and by working on many published studies and papers. She is proficient in Spanish and Greek.

Dr. Rizk, her team and all the oncology nurses are excellent. They always make us feel comfortable, heard and cared for in the most professional way.
Simply put--Dr. Rizk is tops. I am glad I do not require ongoing attention from a hematologist, but if I did I would be pleased to have her as my doctor.
