About Sophia Rizk MD
Dr. Rizk graduated from Tufts University and received her Doctor of Medicine from New York Medical College. She completed her internship, residency and chief residency in Internal Medicine, followed by her fellowship in Hematology and Medical Oncology at the Warren Alpert Medical School at Brown University. She is board certified in internal medicine.
Dr. Rizk belongs to a number of professional societies, including the American Society of Hematology and the American Society of Clinical Oncology and is a member of the Massachusetts Medical Society, Rhode Island Medical Society and American College of Physicians.
Dr. Rizk loves to share her skills through volunteer work, participating in numerous teaching roles at her alma mater Brown University, and by working on many published studies and papers. She is proficient in Spanish and Greek.

Intake MA was excellent. I am a complicated person. It takes a lot of listening to get my medical picture. She listened and cared. Dr. Rizk is always very good at her job. She is caring and smart. We are working through a difficult problem and she is persistent and has good ideas.
Dr. Rizk is a very concerned and caring professional. She is easy to talk to and involves herself in your care and wellbeing. I would give her the highest of grades. This is an especially sensitive area for any cancer patient and a difficult one to discuss. Dr. RIZK makes it easy to voice your concerns and or problems. She is highly recommended by me.
