  • Everyone I encountered was friendly and kind. I initially went to the wrong building, and a staff member called that I was on my way. I'm very grateful for all of the staff.

  • As a new patient already undergoing Lung Carcinoid cancer in a different State, Dr. Seng was very helpful—professional, great communication, answered questions, ask good questions! Everyone in the office were very helpful and supportive! I would highly recommend this Oncology group!

  • Appointment was for 3:45, seen Dr. at 4:15.

  • Hematology office staff and Dr Seng provided the best experience I have had in a year of medical appointments and care.

  • Dr Seng and the staff have been extremely thorough. I never feel rushed. my questions are always answered. I've been very happy with this office.

  • All the staff and providers are excellent. I went in for my appt feeling fine. I had lab work before my appt. When I went back into the waiting room I started to get hot and felt light headed. I went up to the PAR and quickly she got clinical staff to help. They brought me back into the exam room and gave me some water and had me lie down. The clinical staff and providers were so compassionate and they kept checking on me to make sure I was ok.

  • I am a very emotional person and every one has always been with me all the time. Especially at a time when I need their understanding of what I have been going through. THANK YOU FOR ALL THE HELP .

  • Dr. Seng is the best! Always so kind and caring! She greets me with a warm hug every time I see her! I could not have beaten cancer without her! Thank you!

  • I am grateful for the great care Dr. Seng, and her team provides for me.My quality of care has improved over the years, allowing me to spend quality time with my family and friends.I am not just a cancer survivor, but I am now able to thrive each day.

  • They were all great

  • Great service and treatment as usual.

  • When printing summary all the pages are not necessary as they can be accessed online.

  • I only had to wait about 20 minutes to see the doctor. I thought that was great

  • At this time everything is great.

  • Dr. Sonia Seng and staff are top professionals.

  • Listen

  • Dr Seng and her staff are wonderful, caring , compassionate, taking the time to help and explain everything for my care .

  • Dr. Seng is so nice and caring. She greeted me with a smile and reassured me that I was going to be okay. She was supportive and listened to the questions that I had. The only thing that I would suggest is the waiting room is small. I felt that we were all on top of each other, while waiting to be called in.

  • Aside from being close to 45 minutes late, Dr Seng was wonderful, open, caring informative and reassuring .

  • Always on time. Staff is always pleasant.

  • Docs are pressed for time. This visit as well as another with my PCP, they both walked into the exam room and immediately went to computer to read my history. My preference is to take a few min to review before they see me, even if it means a delay.

  • Polite, answered questions. Lined up for the fall re: appts, labs, etc.

  • Everyone was friendly, professional, and knowledgeable.

  • Everything was done 100%

  • Everything was done well and with a smile. Things were a little late today but that can be understood because things can unexpectedly come up. Wasn't that bad though.

Southcoast Health physician profiles now feature star ratings.  Below, you’ll find frequently asked questions about our process for calculating the ratings.

Why does Southcoast publish survey ratings online?
Southcoast is dedicated to providing patients and consumers with helpful information about the quality of our patients’ experiences. Star ratings published on our physician biography pages are based on actual responses from patients of that particular physician to patient satisfaction surveys that are distributed and processed by a national patient satisfaction survey vendor.

Who receives the survey?
Our vendor sends surveys via SMS or email to all patients seen in our outpatient physician practices who have a valid smart phone number or email address on file with Southcoast Health. Surveys are sent to patients within a few days of their appointment.

How is the Patient Satisfaction Star Rating Calculated?
Star ratings are calculated using an average of all survey responses to each of three questions: Courtesy and Respect of Staff, Provider Overall Rating, and  Willingness to Recommend Provider’s Office.  The star rating displayed on our physicians’ main biography page represents the average of the three measures for that particular physician.
