  • I wish I could have had my MRI and Neurology referral expedited since I am experiencing head pain.

  • My appointment was for 1:45pm. I was taken into the room at about 1:55pm, but did not see anyone until 2:50pm. I was in the room for an hour without speaking to anyone, until I walked outside and said that I had not been seen in the 45 minutes that I had been in the room for. The front desk had a sign saying that Dr. Seng's appointments were running "On Time" and yet I was there for over an hour without seeing her and no one informed me that she was running behind schedule. Additionally, once she saw me, she spent about 10 minutes with me and told me that she needed to run labs before she could see me again. I was there for over an hour and a half all together, and the only thing that I was told was that she needed to run labs. Overall, I was very frustrated with the entire experience.

  • Dr. was 1/2 hour late.

  • Everything went fine...the doctor and staff were easy to communicate with, pleasant and caring.Dr.Seng explained things to me with a kind and optimistic attitude....

  • The lab was very efficient , not keeping me waiting long to have blood drawn, the office visit could of been better at keeping to the scheduled time of my visit.

  • Dr Seng was wonderful she listened and explained everything she was going to do for me. Staff was very professional. Nice experience at the office .

  • The Dr was thorough and answered all my questions.

  • The nurse and Dr Sonia Seng was amazingly gracious and explaining every detail.Great team of people from the desk to the blood lab.

  • I am a Southcoast Health patient for years and I am very very pleased with all the procedures and with Doctors and Nurses and all the Staff. Thank you Southcoast!

  • Dr. Seng is very thorough and am very happy with my care.

  • Dr Seng She is excellent in her work she explained everything to me where I understood about the new medication I will be taking

  • The provider was very nice and easy to talk to.

  • I was impressed with the care and compassion that was shown to me today.Having breast cancer with bone Mets is not the path I chose for myself, however I am very grateful my Provider and her team have improved my journey, and quality of life.Thank you!

  • Pleasant, curteous, and friendly staff. Listened to my needs and concerns. Dr. Seng poised the reasons the anti hormonal pill could be beneficial. I know I can call the office should I need support before my appointment in April.

  • Told me as soon as I arrived that I had nothing to worry about. The Dr put my mind at ease. I WAS VERY CONCERNED BEFORE THAT SOMETHING VERY SERIOUS WAS WRONG.

  • The staff was very personable, made it very easy to be there. Thank you.

  • Provider answered all of my questions well. Was very perceptive and acknowledged my statements. I had to go back to the clinic later in the afternoon because I did not know that I needed to have labwork done after the consultation. The Southcoast OB-GYN clinic would usually do labwork before consultation, so I had assumed that I was done when the doctor left. My printed summary did not show that the labwork would not be done within the same day but on the next which is in May, contrary to what was indicated on the digital copy of my summary. I'm an immigrant; yet to get used to the procedures here. It was just a minor misunderstanding, but I would like to be told what comes next in the future to avoid a misunderstanding/miscommunication like this. Other than that, the reception, care and service were excellent.

  • I got in relatively quickly, saw the doctor almost immediately and didn't spend a ton of time there, which was very good for the the quickness of being helped. So I thought that was great.

  • Keep up the good work. You guys are great. Thumbs up thank you

  • Everything was done well. Nice, people doing a tough job with a smile.

  • Felt like the dr wouldn't let me finish a sentence while trying to give a history. It was a prolonged history but it was applicable.

  • My daughter was suppose to be called when I was in with the doctor. The request was made a week prior to the appointment. I wouldn't have made the appointment if the promise of my daughter being on the phone to listen and ask the doctor questions in regards to my treatment.

  • Always very knowledgeable.

  • My appointment was 1:45 but I didn't get into see the Dr. until a little after 3:00. I was told the Dr was runnning late when I was escorted into a room to wait away from the waiting room but that I was the next patient to be seen. I waited in that room for about 15 minutes then brought to the room I was to see the Dr in. There I again waited for about 20 minutes before the Dr arrived. The nurse did stick her head into the room at a point and said again I was next to be seen. I finally walked out of the office area approximately 3:50. A long afternoon for a routine follow-up.

Southcoast Health physician profiles now feature star ratings.  Below, you’ll find frequently asked questions about our process for calculating the ratings.

Why does Southcoast publish survey ratings online?
Southcoast is dedicated to providing patients and consumers with helpful information about the quality of our patients’ experiences. Star ratings published on our physician biography pages are based on actual responses from patients of that particular physician to patient satisfaction surveys that are distributed and processed by a national patient satisfaction survey vendor.

Who receives the survey?
Our vendor sends surveys via SMS or email to all patients seen in our outpatient physician practices who have a valid smart phone number or email address on file with Southcoast Health. Surveys are sent to patients within a few days of their appointment.

How is the Patient Satisfaction Star Rating Calculated?
Star ratings are calculated using an average of all survey responses to each of three questions: Courtesy and Respect of Staff, Provider Overall Rating, and  Willingness to Recommend Provider’s Office.  The star rating displayed on our physicians’ main biography page represents the average of the three measures for that particular physician.
