  • Staff cares and takes away your stress concerns by the way they talk and assist the patient

  • It's always a very good experience being seen with professionalism and kindness.

  • Everyone there is so kind and caring . Dr Seng is so understanding and compassionate

  • I understood that Dr. Seng was behind time as it was posted - it was a short visit and what needed to be done was done.

  • I was very nervous going for this procedure, and every one from the lab to reception were kind and considerate. I can't explain how much faith I have in Dr. Sang she is wonderful and her nurse was exceptional … I work in a medical office, you guys got this don't change.

  • Thank You to Dr. Seng, and the entire staff. It was a great visit.

  • I felt rushed.

  • I am always very impressed with south coast hospital and doctors Sonia is fantastic. Dr [Name] and dr [Name] are equally amazing same for my primary dr [Name]. Very grateful for the services you all provide. Used many other facilities over the years and none compare

  • Love doctor Seng

  • I wish I could have had my MRI and Neurology referral expedited since I am experiencing head pain.

  • My appointment was for 1:45pm. I was taken into the room at about 1:55pm, but did not see anyone until 2:50pm. I was in the room for an hour without speaking to anyone, until I walked outside and said that I had not been seen in the 45 minutes that I had been in the room for. The front desk had a sign saying that Dr. Seng's appointments were running "On Time" and yet I was there for over an hour without seeing her and no one informed me that she was running behind schedule. Additionally, once she saw me, she spent about 10 minutes with me and told me that she needed to run labs before she could see me again. I was there for over an hour and a half all together, and the only thing that I was told was that she needed to run labs. Overall, I was very frustrated with the entire experience.

  • Dr. was 1/2 hour late.

  • Everything went fine...the doctor and staff were easy to communicate with, pleasant and caring.Dr.Seng explained things to me with a kind and optimistic attitude....

  • The lab was very efficient , not keeping me waiting long to have blood drawn, the office visit could of been better at keeping to the scheduled time of my visit.

  • Dr Seng was wonderful she listened and explained everything she was going to do for me. Staff was very professional. Nice experience at the office .

  • The Dr was thorough and answered all my questions.

  • The nurse and Dr Sonia Seng was amazingly gracious and explaining every detail.Great team of people from the desk to the blood lab.

Southcoast Health physician profiles now feature star ratings.  Below, you’ll find frequently asked questions about our process for calculating the ratings.

Why does Southcoast publish survey ratings online?
Southcoast is dedicated to providing patients and consumers with helpful information about the quality of our patients’ experiences. Star ratings published on our physician biography pages are based on actual responses from patients of that particular physician to patient satisfaction surveys that are distributed and processed by a national patient satisfaction survey vendor.

Who receives the survey?
Our vendor sends surveys via SMS or email to all patients seen in our outpatient physician practices who have a valid smart phone number or email address on file with Southcoast Health. Surveys are sent to patients within a few days of their appointment.

How is the Patient Satisfaction Star Rating Calculated?
Star ratings are calculated using an average of all survey responses to each of three questions: Courtesy and Respect of Staff, Provider Overall Rating, and  Willingness to Recommend Provider’s Office.  The star rating displayed on our physicians’ main biography page represents the average of the three measures for that particular physician.
