About Shobhita Sundar MD
Dr. Sundar received her medical degree from the University of Madras Stanley Medical School in Madras, India. She then completed a residency at Railway Hospital in Madras. Dr. Sundar completed her postdoctoral training in internal medicine at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center in Worcester, Mass., where she was chief resident.
Dr. Sundar is board certified in internal medicine. She is also certified in bone densitometry.

Dr Sundar is an amazing doctor. She and her staff are very professional polite and courteous. They always treat me with excellent customer service and caring for my concerns. I never leave before all my concerns are addressed, discussed and game plan put in place. I have been going to Dr. Shobita Sundar for many many years!!!She's very thorough concerned and considerate. I hope I never have to find another doctor for my PCP. I am very grateful to have her as my PCP!! I trust in Dr Sundar. She takes her patients care and concerns into consideration, ALWAYS!!

Sick visit. Was seen in a timely manner. Was able to get blood work, urinalysis and CT on same day. Placed on antibiotic. Also follow up call by Dr. Sundar to explain results and treatment.

My call was answered with no waiting time. The person listened well & repeated back my issues. I agreed to a televist with Dr later on. Dr called back same day and prescriptions were given. If it were not for this televisit, i would still be very sick with the flu. I had not able to even pick up my head from pillow for 3 days prior. This prompt attention has helped me to a speedy recovery without leaving my home and infecting others.

Because of the weather that day I arrived early and hardly waited at all! While checking out afterward, I forgot to arrange lab appointments but that is no big problem. My wellness visit was rather pleasant, personable, and relaxing. My 20-yr. experience with the same primary caregiver increases my comfort level and that has been important.

The waiting room is always well kept, very neat and clean, makes me feel comfortable being there. And my doctor, Dr. Sundar, she is and always will be the best doctor I've ever had. She's very attentive, listens to my concerns, and helps me achieve my goals, which I was able to do at this last appointment by getting off of my blood pressure medicine. And I've told her that that was always a goal of mine, and she helped me achieve that. She's just awesome. I love her.

Dr. Sundar is a lovely doctor who cares about her patients. She cares about them emotionally and physically and does the best that she can to help them and needs that she can help them. And when things are outside of her realm, she makes sure that she facilitates and puts them with the people that they need to be put with. And we're just so grateful that not only she's my physician, but other people in my family's as well. And the facility is always great when we go in as well, check in, check out her nurses, her medical assistants. It's always a great experience.
[Name] my nurse from that office is always there to answer any questions I have and helps me get a visit when I need one. Dr. Sundar is always there when I need herand listens to me and advises me.
I don't know if this is for all providers but I don't feel my physicals are through and almost a waste of time.

I was in the office a total of one hour and 20 minutes and only spent five minutes with the doctor. And then I waited to get a shingle shot and that took another 20 minutes. So all total was there an hour and 20 minutes. I could have improved on that and spent a little bit more time than five minutes.

My problem is the actual Charlton Hospital, which would make me leery of sending anyone there to South Coast in that they are affiliated with Charlton and our experiences have not been a positive in the last two months. I waited 45 minutes for the Dr to come in and felt rushed out
Dr. Sundar and her staff are always amazing. I am always early to everything and I know when I get to an appointment at this office I'll have to wait for my appointment time but…they always see me early unlike providers I have had in years past. I cannot stress enough how happy I am to be a patient of Dr. Sundar's.
The Dr listened to everything we said and she told us (my daughter and I) things that could make our lives easier.

I signed in on line then when I got to the office I was given the same questions to answer again. Do not appreciate having my time wasted. RSD in both arms makes it painful to write.

When the techs call a patient from the waiting area, weight and height should be done in the exam room - NOT an open area. ALSO, weight should be done with a patient in a johnnie - NOT fully dressed with shoes on.
