  • Friendly and listened well. Understood my many health issues and responded to my concerns with clear instructions on what to do next.

  • Dr Pivas office excellent very very good

  • Always listen and always addresses the issue. I know I can count on them

  • Service was exceptional. Quick everyone was friendly and awesome

  • No improvement needed.

  • Doctor and staff were compassionate and varing

  • Well, they very courteous but I never see my the doctor I never see the doctor every time the doctor is is 9 months ahead. So if you think you want to see your doctor you don't, so it's not good.

  • Very quick office visit, wish they were all like that, in and out fast,

  • Very nice and took care of the problem

  • No improvement necessary

  • I visited 2 different South Coast doctors on the same day, so I don't know to which visit this questionnaire is attached. However, my answers would be the same.

  • I really don't like the entire idea of health care over the phone.

  • Listened to me answered questions didn't rush me out was pleasant

  • Always professional and caring

  • Honest and hard worker. She knew all my information about me and took the time to explain every detail to me where i could understand my medical problem. To me she's A + at her job very likable. [Name] [Name]

  • Very attentive, listen to me and understood what I was saying.

  • Everything went as planed.

  • Through care NP has great patient skills kept me well informed and explained every issue

  • Don't try to fix it. It's wonderful the way it is. Thank you.

  • You did everything very good. Thank you.

  • No long wait time

  • They did everything

  • Helped with assisting me to the office made sure I was comfortable for the visit and following COVID-19 rules

  • Very thorough.

  • Not flexible around the use of certain medication. The medication was a controlled substance so it's understandable to be cautionary. However, there are times when a patient is in pain that needs flexibility.

  • Sarah knew my history and was able to diagnose what was wrong and ordered a prescription. Can't ask for better than that!

  • Saw the NP, Sara. She didn't tell me why I was in pain and sent me for an ultrasound. The result was negative and she gave me no advice for what to do for my situation.

  • The medical terms in the messages are not for the average person to comprehend. My Dr did not phone me to explain and the person who did phone me simply explained the medication and could not answer questions regarding the discomport I was experiencing.

  • I call because on Wednesday because I had a bursitis. I thought it was bursitis in my elbow. I got to see the nurse practitioner as soon as I get out, so I had to wait a whole day to see it's like when you get an appointment till Thursday when I get in there, she didn't want to see me. Let me she saw me but she immediately referred me to the ER and I just thought I could've been referred to the ER day early. I'm probably get start feeling better a day earlier and currently I'm admitted to a child hospital because of it. So that's about all I wanted to say. Thank you.

  • Very nice and informative

  • the Staff and Doctor always on point... great experience

  • No comment necessary.

  • Poor bedside manner. Did not do any explanation, just meds prescription. I don't think she likes what she's doing.

  • Listened to my problem and knew exactly what needed to be done. Great group of Dr and nurses. It's a pleasure to go to the Dr

  • Everything was very well done

  • Have seen the NP the last several times I've had to be seen and have been VERY HAPPY with every interaction.

  • Everyone were sensitive to the situation n took care to help me with success. Very professional.

Southcoast Health physician profiles now feature star ratings.  Below, you’ll find frequently asked questions about our process for calculating the ratings.

Why does Southcoast publish survey ratings online?
Southcoast is dedicated to providing patients and consumers with helpful information about the quality of our patients’ experiences. Star ratings published on our physician biography pages are based on actual responses from patients of that particular physician to patient satisfaction surveys that are distributed and processed by a national patient satisfaction survey vendor.

Who receives the survey?
Our vendor sends surveys via SMS or email to all patients seen in our outpatient physician practices who have a valid smart phone number or email address on file with Southcoast Health. Surveys are sent to patients within a few days of their appointment.

How is the Patient Satisfaction Star Rating Calculated?
Star ratings are calculated using an average of all survey responses to each of three questions: Courtesy and Respect of Staff, Provider Overall Rating, and  Willingness to Recommend Provider’s Office.  The star rating displayed on our physicians’ main biography page represents the average of the three measures for that particular physician.
