At Southcoast Health, we strive to deliver exceptional patient care along with an exceptional patient experience. We appreciate all of your feedback and share your comments to recognize the wonderful care our teams provide to you as well as identify areas for improvement.

  • All health concerns thoroughly addressed in a caring and considerate manner.

  • Everyone in the office is friendly and respectful, which reflects the way the office is run. Safe practices are always the norm at this medical facility, which makes me feel safe when I have an appointment there, and my physician is awesome!

  • Yes, he's been calling now home. I'm afraid to go out. I couldn't get the covid shot. So they've been calling me on the phone in that and this is great. I like to keep doing this if I can if I need to see him. I will, but it's not necessary. I think the phone call is great and I thank you very much.

  • Dr Schwartz is the best

  • Dr Schwartz always takes time to talk with me no matter how busy he is. Carefully explains conditions and is always positive.True professional.

  • Dr. Schwartz knows my aunt and focuses on areas that matter. My aunt said, "He is so good! And smart."

  • always great

  • Dr Ronald Schwartz have me a very good yearly wellness exam. He is very professional and answered all my questions.

  • I was seen very timely and Dr. Schwartz spent as much time as needed to answer my questions. I was required to make an appointment for lab work, which is extremely inconvenient. I do hope that going forward they are able to coordinate labs on a day when you are physically there instead of requiring that you make a separate appointment.

  • Person who called the day before my appointment to confirm my appointment did not let me know you need an appointment to have your blood work done now. My last appointment was in December 2019, when you could still just go down to the lab and get your blood work done as a walk-in. No appointment was needed. Over last 1 1/2 years with CoVid 19 many people have not gone into the clinic for their regular Physical or Wellness Check. Every person contacted about their office visit should be made aware that they need to make an appointment with the lab if they need lab work done.

  • Always satisfied with staff and provider

  • always helpful

  • Dr. Schwartz is one of the best!

  • Everything was greatu00A0

Southcoast Health physician profiles now feature star ratings.  Below, you’ll find frequently asked questions about our process for calculating the ratings.

Why does Southcoast publish survey ratings online?
Southcoast is dedicated to providing patients and consumers with helpful information about the quality of our patients’ experiences. Star ratings published on our physician biography pages are based on actual responses from patients of that particular physician to patient satisfaction surveys that are distributed and processed by a national patient satisfaction survey vendor.

Who receives the survey?
Our vendor sends surveys via SMS or email to all patients seen in our outpatient physician practices who have a valid smart phone number or email address on file with Southcoast Health. Surveys are sent to patients within a few days of their appointment.

How is the Patient Satisfaction Star Rating Calculated?
Star ratings are calculated using an average of all survey responses to each of three questions: Courtesy and Respect of Staff, Provider Overall Rating, and  Willingness to Recommend Provider’s Office.  The star rating displayed on our physicians’ main biography page represents the average of the three measures for that particular physician.
