About Robert Vazquez MD
Dr. Vazquez earned a medical degree from Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine. He completed his residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in general cardiovascular disease at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. He served there as the Chief Cardiology Fellow from 2018 to 2019 and received the Resident Student Teaching Award in 2016.
Previously, he earned a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Rutgers University, New Brunswick, N.J.
Dr. Vazquez is board certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease. He has a special interest in non-invasive cardiac imaging and has additional board certifications in Echocardiography, Nuclear Cardiology and Cardiovascular Computed Tomography (CT).
He is a member of the American Cardiology Society, the American Heart Association and the American College of Physicians

Dr Vazquez listens carefully to my issues. He spent a lot of time talking with me and my husband around my concerns that I have ME/CFS but didn't recommend or refer me to other doctors who could help. Dr V is a very caring person who i would recommend for heart issues.
Dr. Vazquez is always on top of my situation. He remembers everything and has been maintaining my good health for years now. My blood pressure was out of control before I met him and he guided me through some med combos, but we arrived at the perfect mix and I will be forever grateful!

Best medical service, bar none!
If your scale were higher, Dr Vazquez would be higher than a 10. He explains things in a way that helps me take better care of myself because I understand how things affect my condition. He's easy to talk things over with and I'm comfortable discussing little issues before they become major problems. I'm fortunate to have him as one of my providers. The office staff does a nice job to support him.
It is so nice to have a doctor walk in the room and know who I am - what I am there for - and what we've discussed in the past!! When I have a visit with Dr Vazquez.u00A0I forget he works for Southcoast!! All my questions are answered - I am never rushed out - he cares - I am not just a number!! His whole office is the same way!!
Sooner appointments, waited over a year to be seen

Timeliness seems to not be a priority here. I was seen at least 20 minutes after my scheduled appointment. The scheduled appointment was designated as a 15 minute visit, meaning that the appointment began at least six minutes after the appointment should have ended.
