Board certified in obstetrics and gynecology, Dr. Tripp is a graduate of the New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in Biddeford, Maine. He completed a rotating internship at the Chicago Osteopathic Board certified in obstetrics and gynecology, Medical Center and an OB/GYN residency at the Allentown Osteopathic Medical Center in Allentown, Pennsylvania.

Overall not a bad experience. Being in a helping profession I do feel and need to be honest, Dr Tripp expressed being under a time constraint to see me which wasn't my fault. I do think Dr's need to have more time w their patience so they can listen to our concerns and not feel rushed. It may be a systematic issue but I felt rushed and a bit dismissed. But we discussed this and he listened. I don't believe it's his fault. I think it's the way Southcoast is set up?

I absolutely love coming to the doctors here and the new Bedford and Dartmouth location .. I come in and I'm brought into a room within 5-10 mins if that ! And then I'm barely in the room before the doctor is coming in ready to go! I love that because who wants to spend hours in the office staring at the walls lol overall a very good place I would definitely tell my family and friends this place is great ! ? Xo

I do wish someone would invent a electronic exam table to help those of us with vertigo or elderly/ disabled to get up easier after laying down. The nurses and doctors always assist but why are we subjecting them to possible injury.

Southcoast Health physician profiles now feature star ratings. Below, you’ll find frequently asked questions about our process for calculating the ratings.

Why does Southcoast publish survey ratings online?
Southcoast is dedicated to providing patients and consumers with helpful information about the quality of our patients’ experiences. Star ratings published on our physician biography pages are based on actual responses from patients of that particular physician to patient satisfaction surveys that are distributed and processed by a national patient satisfaction survey vendor.

Who receives the survey?
Our vendor sends surveys via SMS or email to all patients seen in our outpatient physician practices who have a valid smart phone number or email address on file with Southcoast Health. Surveys are sent to patients within a few days of their appointment.

How is the Patient Satisfaction Star Rating Calculated?
Star ratings are calculated using an average of all survey responses to each of three questions: Courtesy and Respect of Staff, Provider Overall Rating, and Willingness to Recommend Provider’s Office. The star rating displayed on our physicians’ main biography page represents the average of the three measures for that particular physician.
