Please call the office before coming in for your appointment if you are experiencing any of the following symptoms or have been in close contact with a confirmed case of coronavirus (COVID-19) in the past 14 days: fever, chills, or body aches, cough or shortness of breath, fatigue, sore throat, headache, new loss of sense of taste or smell, gastrointestinal symptoms (e.g. nausea, vomiting, diarrhea,) rash or COVID toes (e.g., swollen, discolored toes.)
For the safety of our patients, providers and staff during the COVID-19 crisis, Southcoast Health has temporarily suspended online scheduling to ensure we are properly screening patients and appropriately directing care. About Robert Fruggiero
Dr. Fruggiero completed his medical degree at New York Medical College, and his Family Medicine Residency at Brown University. Previously, he graduated summa cum laude from the University of Rhode Island with a Bachelor of Science in Biology.
As a medical student, Dr. Fruggiero completed the Sidney Frank Summer Fellowship in Psychiatry at Westchester Medical Center and helped lead and organize clinical skills lectures throughout his fourth year.
In his spare time Dr. Fruggiero enjoys playing the piano, singing, reading science fiction and considers himself an amateur astronomer.
