About Rebecca Hebert

Rebecca Hebert, CNM, completed her undergrad at Quincy College and University of Massachusetts Boston. She then graduated from Frontier Nursing University in Hyden, KY. with a Master of Science degree, specializing in Midwifery.

Rebecca is certified by the American Midwifery Certification Board as a nurse midwife. Her clinical interests include pregnancy, family planning, contraceptive care, sexually transmitted infections, substance use disorders, mental health, health and wellness and equal access to care.

Prior to joining Southcoast Physicians Group, Rebecca worked locally as a Southcoast affiliated provider, taking care of a diverse population. Six months ago, she joined the Southcoast midwifery group and started seeing patients at St. Luke’s hospital. Her clinical experience has focused on OB care, including prenatal, gyn, high risk pregnancy management, natural childbirth, primary care and education in the hospital and outpatient settings.

In her free time, Rebecca enjoys spending time with her family and friends, along with enjoying the outdoors and doing things such as hiking, biking, yoga and CrossFit.

    The provider Rebecca, was extremely compassionate. She was very, very kind. She really was listening to me. I felt that, especially since switching to[Name] [Name] office that all of the providers that I've seen so far, which is [Name] [Name] and her, have been just so thorough, so compassionate, much different than my previous provider, specifically with Rebecca. I feel like she was really detailed and explained things very well, and she did take the time to also, just be there and allow you to be yourself and be exactly, you know, express exactly how you felt during that visit, so I really appreciate it. I think she went above and beyond and I wanted to make sure that that was stated, because she really was an excellent provider, and if[Name][Name] is not available, I will 100% be wanting to see her again. Southcoast Health physician profiles now feature star ratings.  Below, you’ll find frequently asked questions about our process for calculating the ratings.

Why does Southcoast publish survey ratings online?
Southcoast is dedicated to providing patients and consumers with helpful information about the quality of our patients’ experiences. Star ratings published on our physician biography pages are based on actual responses from patients of that particular physician to patient satisfaction surveys that are distributed and processed by a national patient satisfaction survey vendor.

Who receives the survey?
Our vendor sends surveys via SMS or email to all patients seen in our outpatient physician practices who have a valid smart phone number or email address on file with Southcoast Health. Surveys are sent to patients within a few days of their appointment.

How is the Patient Satisfaction Star Rating Calculated?
Star ratings are calculated using an average of all survey responses to each of three questions: Courtesy and Respect of Staff, Provider Overall Rating, and  Willingness to Recommend Provider’s Office.  The star rating displayed on our physicians’ main biography page represents the average of the three measures for that particular physician.
