About Ramin Davoudi

Dr. Davoudi is the Medical Director of Southcoast Arrhythmia Services, staff electrophysiologist and cardiologist with Southcoast Health.

He received his medical degree from the New York Medical College in Valhalla, N.Y. He then completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at the Tufts Medical Center in Boston. Dr. Davoudi also completed fellowships in cardiovascular medicine and interventional cardiac electrophysiology at UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester, Mass.

Dr. Davoudi is board-certified in cardiovascular disease, cardiac electrophysiology and internal medicine. He specializes in atrial fibrillation ablation and complex ablations.

  • I was not happy with telephone appt vs in office. I had to take my own blood pressure and temperature, fortunately, I had the equipment to do so. I usually have an EKG at my in office appointment but had to forgo it.

The way they tell you to sit in the car and you called them and they'll tell you when you can come in and they bring you right into the office to the room, where you'll be examined.   • This was a telephone conference visit with the doctor, which really doesn't seem to make much sense in the case of an cardiologist. I think it's absolutely necessary that he see the patient and that he hears the heart himself and take blood pressure and stuff. Maybe anyway as it turns out we're going to have a second visit on Thursday to take care of those other things.

I did get a call from the office that it would be a phone appointment which was right, and then I was told that I would be contacted with somebody about how it was set up and I actually reached out to that person and I was told that I would be sent a link. I'm assuming so we could have a visual appointment never was I told when I receive that link or how it would work I deal with a number of physicians. They all have links. They all work differently many of them require need to download an application first. So when I asked your staff both the office staff and*

  • This was during COVID so I didn’t actually see the doctor. I was pleased by the experience.

  • If you mean by being seen is talking on the phone then the all yes’s are good. The problem is that blood pressure cannot be taken over the phone and this visit was for a routine high blood pressure checkup.But we all did what has to be done in this time of the Coronavirus.

Why does Southcoast publish survey ratings online?
Southcoast is dedicated to providing patients and consumers with helpful information about the quality of our patients’ experiences. Star ratings published on our physician biography pages are based on actual responses from patients of that particular physician to patient satisfaction surveys that are distributed and processed by a national patient satisfaction survey vendor.

Who receives the survey?
Our vendor sends surveys via SMS or email to all patients seen in our outpatient physician practices who have a valid smart phone number or email address on file with Southcoast Health. Surveys are sent to patients within a few days of their appointment.

How is the Patient Satisfaction Star Rating Calculated?
Star ratings are calculated using an average of all survey responses to each of three questions: Courtesy and Respect of Staff, Provider Overall Rating, and  Willingness to Recommend Provider’s Office.  The star rating displayed on our physicians’ main biography page represents the average of the three measures for that particular physician.
