About Ramin Davoudi

Dr. Davoudi is the Medical Director of Southcoast Arrhythmia Services, staff electrophysiologist and cardiologist with Southcoast Health.

He received his medical degree from the New York Medical College in Valhalla, N.Y. He then completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at the Tufts Medical Center in Boston. Dr. Davoudi also completed fellowships in cardiovascular medicine and interventional cardiac electrophysiology at UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester, Mass.

Dr. Davoudi is board-certified in cardiovascular disease, cardiac electrophysiology and internal medicine. He specializes in atrial fibrillation ablation and complex ablations.

  • Dr. Davoudi listened to all of our concerns and answered and provided his professional opinions to all questions. The nurse that always comes in to do vitals, EKG, meds, etc., is wonderful! She has such a great personality and makes me feel at ease during the entire time she is with me in the office prior to the doctor coming in!

  • The medical assistant, I think her name was [Name] went over an above. She was thorough, she was careful, she rechecked my blood pressure 3 times I, I couldn't couldn't say enough good about her. Not like many others and Dr. Davoudi give he is so good. He just gives off aura of calm that makes you just feel safe and I remember when I was in the hospital and he walk into my room. It was very comforting to have him in there. I really I think he's a great doctor. Thank you. Bye.

  • I was requested to show up 15 minutes early for an appointment and I was not allowed in the office until they open the doors at 8 o'clock. It was 15 minutes loss of my time. I would update that. I know due to Covid, but I would definitely update for an 8 o'clock appointment to show up at 8 and not 15 minutes early.

  • Received very good care. The Doctor listed to my concerns. Gave me his opinion on what I should do. Very helpful!

  • The TV in the waiting room was loud and no-one was paying attention to it

  • Dr Davoudi is incredibly attentive and responsive to any and all questions and is very skilled at responding with helpful and educating information

  • The assistant notified us we would have to wait for pacemaker reader and she would be back. She never came back. The dr set everything up. We did wait for 30 minutes.

Why does Southcoast publish survey ratings online?
Southcoast is dedicated to providing patients and consumers with helpful information about the quality of our patients’ experiences. Star ratings published on our physician biography pages are based on actual responses from patients of that particular physician to patient satisfaction surveys that are distributed and processed by a national patient satisfaction survey vendor.

Who receives the survey?
Our vendor sends surveys via SMS or email to all patients seen in our outpatient physician practices who have a valid smart phone number or email address on file with Southcoast Health. Surveys are sent to patients within a few days of their appointment.

How is the Patient Satisfaction Star Rating Calculated?
Star ratings are calculated using an average of all survey responses to each of three questions: Courtesy and Respect of Staff, Provider Overall Rating, and  Willingness to Recommend Provider’s Office.  The star rating displayed on our physicians’ main biography page represents the average of the three measures for that particular physician.
