About Paul Evans MD
Dr. Paul Evans graduated with honors with his Bachelor of Arts degree from Macalester College in St. Paul, MN. He then furthered his medical expertise, earning his Doctor of Medicine degree from the Univeristy of Minnesota Medical School in Minneapolis, MN. Dr. Evans completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at the Maine Medical Center in Portland, ME where he also completed his post graduate fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine.
Dr. Evans is board certified through the American Board of Internal Medicine and is certified in Advanced Life Support. In addition, Dr. Evans is a Fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians.
Outside of work, Dr. Evans is a licensed private pilot and a certified SCUBA diver.

Dr Evan's is simply the best
Nothing could have improved this visit. Dr. Evans was prompt, clearly had studied my medical history before the appointment, and listened intently to my responses to his questions. He has a wonderful "bedside manner". He answered my questions thoroughly and clearly. He has a great sense of humor. I never felt rushed in any way. I feel very fortunate that he will provide my care. I also appreciated the fact that he discussed options for my ongoing care and collaborated with me to make a plan of care. Dr. Evans is a real credit to Southcoast Healthcare. I could not be more satisfied with him as a provider.
Excellent, caring, knowledgeable doctor and staff
Dr. Evans covered several aspects of my pulmonary care, including the use of my CPAP machine, which I hadn't even thought about. Also, one of his staff walked me back out to the waiting room to help with the doors, so I could deal with my oxygen and walker.
I love everything about Dr. Evans office. The building is spotless. The staff is welcoming. I was taking into my visit the moment I arrived. The nurses were friendly and thorough. Dr. Evans is one of the best doctors I have had in my 73 years. He is caring, that's not rush me and listens and gives me great options and advice. Love south Coast health and Dr. Evans!
This was my first time there so I really can't say much but everything went well. I would go back again.
This was my first appointment with Dr Evan's. He was absolutely wonderful. He spent so much time with me and explained everything in such an easy way to understand all my new health issues and concerns. He asked me many questions too because he wanted to know everything about me and my health. Never did I feel rushed nor did I feel reluctant to ask any and every question on my mind. I feel lucky to have been able to find such a wonderful, caring doctor.

My appt was 8 am. The med assistant was running late. Dr evans himself came and got me from waiting area ( 8:10) he apologized. No need to do that. The girl at check in was cheerful, efficient.
