  • I would suggest that the provider requests lab test about 1 week prior to or annual physicals so they can review them before our visit. Currently, we have our visit and then go for the labs. Then, if the doctor sees something they d not like we have to make another appointment. Since the doctor is busy, let's give them our lab results before we see them.

  • I've been going to Dr. Mansharamani for years. He's been on top of my care and keeps up with other health issues treated by other specialists. How Southcoast can improve in general is to provide freedom of choice and not pressure patients and employees to be vaccinated. My body my choice. Vaccinate a person with known anaphylactic allergies why so I still can wear a mask and spread the virus? Where's the logic? Besides I rarely go out, work from home and wearing a mask with a respiratory illness is so much fun. That's my 2 cents since you asked. Good day

  • Come in to office, and I was greeted by the front desk tech, who was very professional, friendly and knew what she was doing, and a few minuets passed, the assistant called me in, she also was very professional, friendly and knew her job as a medical tech, then the Dr came in and he was also very attentive and understanding to my health problems, after that he walked me to the receptionist for a follow up appointment, she was also very nice, friendly and professional, and to end my visit, a nurse called me back in to her office and demonstrated how to use my new asthma medicine, she was very patient and made sure I knew how to use it.   • Hi. Yes, they called to let me know that I could come in that my provider would be available. So when I went in I felt that the last time I went in relatively quickly. This time I went in but then I have to wait and there was a woman there that was coughing... coughing... coughing. I just thought that was a little unexpected. And then I had a nurse practitioner or physician.... physician's assistant that had came in first. They should have at least at let me know first. That someone was going to be there before Dr. Mansharamani to see me, rather than all of a sudden he walked in. He was very nice. Hery knowledgeable. But I would have liked to have had a little bit of knowledge in advance, that he was going to be doing it before I met with my provider. Thank you.

Why does Southcoast publish survey ratings online?
Southcoast is dedicated to providing patients and consumers with helpful information about the quality of our patients’ experiences. Star ratings published on our physician biography pages are based on actual responses from patients of that particular physician to patient satisfaction surveys that are distributed and processed by a national patient satisfaction survey vendor.

Who receives the survey?
Our vendor sends surveys via SMS or email to all patients seen in our outpatient physician practices who have a valid smart phone number or email address on file with Southcoast Health. Surveys are sent to patients within a few days of their appointment.

How is the Patient Satisfaction Star Rating Calculated?
Star ratings are calculated using an average of all survey responses to each of three questions: Courtesy and Respect of Staff, Provider Overall Rating, and  Willingness to Recommend Provider’s Office.  The star rating displayed on our physicians’ main biography page represents the average of the three measures for that particular physician.
