  • All the staff is extremely friendly. It was my first time with Infectious Disease. I was nervous. The staff, [Name][Name]. made things turn from scary to relaxed in a second. The doctor although perplexed with all the overwhelming information we gave him was eager to help and get us help. The proper help. And he explained things and let us explain and answer. There was good understanding with both of our thoughts and needs moving forward. I felt hopeful when I left and that hasn't happened in several years. I'm hopeful moving forward to get straight to healing instead of being doubted and dismissed due to the complexity of my case. I'm looking forward to some resolution. Again thank you for my renewed hope in healing.

  • The doctors assistant was very cordial and efficient. The doctor took the time to asked important questions and very informative, and very pleasant to speak with.

  • Dr. Qu was very knowledgeable about my history and about Lyme disease. He listened to me and answered my questions.

  • I gave a 9 to the last 2 questions because nothing is perfect. I will say i was happy with how my visit went. Thanks.

  • Thank you for your time.

  • Not at this time

  • This is the first time in a long time that I've felt like a Dr actually listened to my issues. I finally feel hopeful about getting the correct diagnoses to what's going on. Dr Qu took the time to get a detailed health history to see what's going on. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

  • Dr Ming is pretty impressive. He explained things well so my wife and I could understand. He couldn't explain why this happened ad if it would again. But I realize that's not possible in my case. I appreciate the honesty. I switched over to south coast ). And I have yet to encounter any medical personnel that I didn't like or have confidence in.

Southcoast Health physician profiles now feature star ratings.  Below, you’ll find frequently asked questions about our process for calculating the ratings.

Why does Southcoast publish survey ratings online?
Southcoast is dedicated to providing patients and consumers with helpful information about the quality of our patients’ experiences. Star ratings published on our physician biography pages are based on actual responses from patients of that particular physician to patient satisfaction surveys that are distributed and processed by a national patient satisfaction survey vendor.

Who receives the survey?
Our vendor sends surveys via SMS or email to all patients seen in our outpatient physician practices who have a valid smart phone number or email address on file with Southcoast Health. Surveys are sent to patients within a few days of their appointment.

How is the Patient Satisfaction Star Rating Calculated?
Star ratings are calculated using an average of all survey responses to each of three questions: Courtesy and Respect of Staff, Provider Overall Rating, and  Willingness to Recommend Provider’s Office.  The star rating displayed on our physicians’ main biography page represents the average of the three measures for that particular physician.
