  • This was a 1st appointment so I am still evaluating her/staff vs. my previous PCP. It was fairly easy to get an appointment & luckily all my prior medical records where available/transferred via MyChart, but obviously she didn't know me/my history.

  • All my questions were answered. The appointment ran on time, but did not seem rushed. Everyone that I came in contact with was courteous and helpful. My doctor listen to my concerns and found a solution to my concerns.

  • I appreciate the effort to have on time appointments. I have not had to wait in the waiting room to be checked in. All people I came in contact with were friendly and showed appropriate concern for my comfort and health. The med student who spoke with me prior to Dr Boyle coming did a good job of asking open ended questions, listening and showing empathy.Suggestion - For scheduled visit where blood work in going to be ordered, perhaps having the lab work done prior to the appointment so it can be reviewed rather than having to go get blood drawn and then come back for another visit (not that this happened this time it is an observation from past visits and with other providers as well.)

  • Dr. Boyle is always friendly, down to earth, and interested in what I have concerns with. I usually come with a written list of medical issues and questions and she is very patient. At this checkup visit, I was concerned about feeling heart flutters that I've never felt before. She gave me an EKG on the spot to ease my concerns. I never feel like I get the "bums rush".

  • I had a major problem a year or so not with the doctor but help in office losing a specimen I had dropped off etc. Since that time I have nothing to say against the office girls out front, the people you see when you first are brought in and the doctor has been very professional and friendly. I hope she stays there for as long as I am around.

Why does Southcoast publish survey ratings online?
Southcoast is dedicated to providing patients and consumers with helpful information about the quality of our patients’ experiences. Star ratings published on our physician biography pages are based on actual responses from patients of that particular physician to patient satisfaction surveys that are distributed and processed by a national patient satisfaction survey vendor.

Who receives the survey?
Our vendor sends surveys via SMS or email to all patients seen in our outpatient physician practices who have a valid smart phone number or email address on file with Southcoast Health. Surveys are sent to patients within a few days of their appointment.

How is the Patient Satisfaction Star Rating Calculated?
Star ratings are calculated using an average of all survey responses to each of three questions: Courtesy and Respect of Staff, Provider Overall Rating, and  Willingness to Recommend Provider’s Office.  The star rating displayed on our physicians’ main biography page represents the average of the three measures for that particular physician.
