The doctor needs to slow down and not make the patient feel so rushed to end. I was prescribed a medication within minutes of the appointment starting but was never told what was being prescribed and the side effects weren't discussed nor the risks. I walked out of the appointment feeling extremely insignificant and uncared for.

The office seems to run efficiently and effectively. I sat in the waiting room for no longer than 5 minutes and was seen by the provider quickly. I felt that my PCP actually listened to my health concerns and provided the proper resources/care to help with them. I didn't feel rushed at all. I was also happy to know that I could get my blood work done right in the office, and the lab results arrived within 24 hours!

I believe Michelle Boyle is overbooked and overworked, and not able to realty care about patients. My experience at her office usually consists of about 60% filling out insurance forms, answering questions from a nurse practitioner (vapid and mechanical-totally impersonal) 30%, and seeing dr for a few minutes 10%

My positive responses/ratings are almost entirely due to Dr. Michelle Boyle, and not necessarily "the provider" i.e. the facility and associated staff. I had been quite satisfied with Dr. Boyle's previous location/practice which I had been using for several years after leaving THIS office to stay with her.It remains to be seen whether I will be equally satisfied now that Dr. Boyle has moved back. If Dr. Boyle was not in this office, I would likely find a different provider.

Why does Southcoast publish survey ratings online?
Southcoast is dedicated to providing patients and consumers with helpful information about the quality of our patients’ experiences. Who receives the survey?
Our vendor sends surveys via SMS or email to all patients seen in our outpatient physician practices who have a valid smart phone number or email address on file with Southcoast Health. Surveys are sent to patients within a few days of their appointment.

How is the Patient Satisfaction Star Rating Calculated?
Star ratings are calculated using an average of all survey responses to each of three questions: Courtesy and Respect of Staff, Provider Overall Rating, and Willingness to Recommend Provider’s Office. The star rating displayed on our physicians’ main biography page represents the average of the three measures for that particular physician.
