Board certified in family medicine, Dr. Boyle earned her medical and undergraduate degrees at Brown University in Providence, R.I. She practices family medicine with Southcoast Physicians Group in Middletown, R.I.

  • She listens to me and gives me suggestions. Knows my history.

  • I made a mistake. My provider Dr Boyle is a 10 not a 6

  • Yikes, I just accidentally erased my lengthy answer.First of all, I wouldn't presume to recommend a health care provider to someone not in my family, so that's why I gave you 8 on that measure, but a 10 on the service you deliver to me.Second, you better make sure these hard working, front line people FEEL APPRECIATED for what they are doing, which is heroic. It is imperative that these people are able to feel good about what they do, to feel acknowledged and recognized for their daily sacrifices. MAKE SURE YOU REWARD your employees on a regular basis, and that you give them EVERY TOOL they need to make their job easier.

  • Under the circumstances we are currently living in, I feel Dr and assistant handled my visit very well

  • No comment needed I'm satisfied with the care and availability of it.

  • Was a little bit of a run aroynd in the beginning due to COVID concerns, but once that was resolved, was able to get my daughter seen quickly and healthcare issue addressed. All things considered, Dr Boyle does a wonderful job taking care of my children's health.

  • Always on-time, kind, caring, listens, helps me with paperwork and forms needed for insurance. The staff keeps me informed through MyChart of any information that I need. I feel safe in her office with all Covid safety precautions followed for myself and her staff. Their care is outstanding, much appreciated through these most difficult times of Covid.

  • The service is always good however the principal difficulty is in making an appointment when the office does not return calls. I understand the current difficulties but a call reminder on the console is a simple alarm to establish.

  • Everyone is professional and kind! A friendly atmosphere. Calls are answered promptly . I was lucky that Dr Boyle was recommended to me.

  • Understand during pandemic visits are different. I have only had remote visits this year with my doctor but I still had in person for dermatology, colonoscopy, dentist, mammogram, and haircuts. It has been necessary for me to use ER, Express Care, and Minute Clinic for emergencies. I am happy with my providers but concerned about direction organization is going in.

  • Punctual. Ok for this type of concern. I still think it's better for the doctor to put her hands on you.

  • Video would not have been my first choice for the yearly exam, but given our current climate with the virus, it went extremely well. I felt very good about how the staff and Dr. Boyle treated me and my concerns/questions.

  • The visit was actually very good and very productive, but it's unfortunate that you have so few providers, so that Healthcare can only be administered on a very time definite basis long time apart. There's no flexibility left, and it's very difficult to actually see a health care provider, even if it's online. So I think that you need to find a way possible to get more providers so that the patient can have better and more frequent access to those providers for home. They are paying. Thank you.

  • The wait time was short and the provider was pleasant.

  • It's a wonderful facility and Dr. Boyle's the best doctor I've ever had in my life.

  • Everybody was super nice. I was able to get an appointment. I had all of my prescriptions filled that I needed and I had all of the specialist appointments that I needed to have set up. I had all the set up super super helpful. So that was all great. Dr. Boyle was the only one on staff at the at the time and was running behind in part because of me I get that but she definitely seems like she needed more help and at least another medical doctor on staff at the surgery at the facility at the time. So that would be my only suggestion for improvement. Is that even with covid to have more than one medical care provider as a medical doctor on staff*

  • Telehealth was good. Dr Boyle was knowledgeable, courteous and very helpful.

  • My appointment was a bit complicated because I'm in [Name] and a five hour time difference. Everyone was very helpful and accommodating and my appt. with Dr. Boyle went beautifully. I especially appreciate the My Chart website, we were able to communicate easily and I was able to see results quickly.

  • Dr. Boyle has been my primary physician for I don't know 20 years something like that forever and ever she knows me through and through. Knows the questions to ask you knows if my responses aren't what she expects. She knows me and I know her she is terrific.

  • I was treated very well during my appointment yesterday. Everybody was very kind. The office is clean. The person gave me the immunization was really good, really interesting and medical assisting who seated me was great. And Dr. Boyle is very, very good. It was a good appointment is very time efficiently and I felt very safe. Thank you.

  • This was my first meeting with this physician, who I hope will become my primary care doctor. This was not the same as an in-person visit to get acquainted with this doctor, but I understand that in these times of the pandemic, this was scheduled to at least help me have a virtual introduction.The doctor mentioned that bloodwork was needed to update my record, and that she would contact Newport Hospital. I am unclear if I am supposed to reach out to them, or if they will contact me.

  • I had some difficulty going into the video meeting. I have an Android phone and Android phone with Google does not acknowledge Dr. Michelle Boyle. They say I need another browser, but I don't seem to be able to put another one on my phone. My desktop does not have a speaker connect. So She said I could use them going to the my chart or my health. And get to the video conference that way but I couldn't figure it out and I haven't had a chance to call.

  • Everyone in the office from the receptionist to the nurse, and doctor are always kind, listen and are helpful and friendly. I can’t say enough good things about the wonderful people and the care I get.

  • I adore Michelle Boyle as a physician. I think she's fabulous. She is intuitive. She's informative. I could not ask for better. The only hang up I have is sometimes it is difficult to reach the office. It's better than it has been in years past, but I find one is often left on hold for extraordinary amounts of time. I know these are unusual times. I know their office is working very hard. Unfortunately. I am not ill in any way, but if I was, this would cause me a lot of stress and concern. But it's nothing at all about Michelle as a health care professional. She is absolutely unbeatable.

Why does Southcoast publish survey ratings online?
Southcoast is dedicated to providing patients and consumers with helpful information about the quality of our patients’ experiences. Star ratings published on our physician biography pages are based on actual responses from patients of that particular physician to patient satisfaction surveys that are distributed and processed by a national patient satisfaction survey vendor.

Who receives the survey?
Our vendor sends surveys via SMS or email to all patients seen in our outpatient physician practices who have a valid smart phone number or email address on file with Southcoast Health. Surveys are sent to patients within a few days of their appointment.

How is the Patient Satisfaction Star Rating Calculated?
Star ratings are calculated using an average of all survey responses to each of three questions: Courtesy and Respect of Staff, Provider Overall Rating, and  Willingness to Recommend Provider’s Office.  The star rating displayed on our physicians’ main biography page represents the average of the three measures for that particular physician.
