About Michael Iadevaia MD
Michael Iadevaia, MD earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology Summa Cum Laude from Northeastern University in Boston, MA. He then furthered his medical expertise, earning his Doctor of Medicine degree from Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston, MA. In addition, Dr. Iadevaia is a certified through the American Board of Family Medicine. His clinical interests include family medicine, primary care, working with the pediatric population, and working with the trans and LGBTQ+ community.
Dr. Iadevaia’s personal philosophy of care is rooted in building trust and communication with his patients. He believes it is important to intervene early in life and help establish a healthy lifestyle to set his patients up for success in their healthcare as they age. As a primary care physician, the prevention of disease is the ultimate goal as it allows his patients to live without worry for their health.
When not at work, Dr. Iadevaia enjoys working in his yard, watching Boston sports, and playing fantasy football.

Yes, Dr. Iadevaia is certainly a very caring and knowledgeable physician. He is always very diligent, he's very deductive, and he's very tenacious in getting me quickly to the right specialist and to follow up. Overall, I think he's a wonderful PCP. And if you could clone him, I would suggest that you do that because he is just fantastic. So thank you for the opportunity to actually give this feedback on him. Take care.
I was particularly pleased with the fact that our need to have refills for prescriptions that we very often can't get easily. The necessity was understood and in fact we did get the prescriptions we needed. The doctor listened carefully, seemed to understand why our difficulties were our difficulties and it was very gratifying and helpful to know that we had been heard.

I have been a patient with the practice since I was a minor, it has been other names previously but I'm 50 years old now so that tells you how long I've been a patient but this was my first time with this doctor and my first impressions were that I really liked him and felt comfortable

Swansea Family Practice has always been a wonderful experience- both with providers and staff.
He was great. I told my husband who's PCP in SC retired that ge should see him. Young, smart, no nonsense and listened well.

Always treated well. Problem, I could not make my next physical appointment with my doctor for 14 months meaning I would not have a physical in the year 2026. I had to make an appointment with a nurse practitioner next December for my physical. This never happened before.

Experience was the best!
I was seen very quickly. The girl was very nice but talked very fast so she had to repeat a few questions a couple of times. Had blood work and they were excellent also.
This was a sick visit so it was my 1st time meeting Dr Michael. He was very thorough. He did an exam, asked the right questions, answered all of mine, listened well & heard what I had to say. He's got a wonderful bedside manner. I would highly recommend him!

You should have all doctors like Dr. Iadevaia. He listens intently to what the patient has to say and returns with words that indicate that he listened and offers information about how to deal with the problem.
Dr. Iadevaia was so empathetic and understanding, and I left feeling heard and cared for as a person, not just an illness to combat. He took the time and listened, asked important questions and addressed all my immediate concerns and then went a step beyond to make sure there was a plan for the future and preventive care in place. I am blessed to have found him.
