About Marvin Berman
Board certified in gastroenterology and internal medicine, Dr. Berman has been practicing in Fall River for more than 20 years and has been on staff at Charlton Memorial Hospital since 1989.
A magna cum laude graduate of the Boston University School of Medicine, he completed his internship and residency at University Hospital in Boston. He received his training in gastroenterology at the Peter Bent Brigham Hospital. He was an assistant professor of medicine at Harvard Medical School. He lectures at Brown University and teaches at Boston Medical Center.
Dr. Berman has a special interest in liver disease and has published widely on this topic as well as other gastrointestinal conditions. He is a member of the American Gastroenterological Association and the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.
