About Lisa Lavigne

Lisa Lavigne, FNP-BC graduated with her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Barry University in Miami, FL. She then went on to further her medical expertise, graduating with her Masters of Science degree in Nursing in the Family Nurse Practitioner Program at Boston College. Lisa’s clinical interests include Neurology. Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, Lisa worked as an RN for 15 years.

Lisa’s personal philosophy of care is centered around providing all patients, regardless of status, the best quality of care available.

When not at work, Lisa enjoys shopping, spending time with her children, going to the beach, fishing, and traveling.

I personally like Lisa Lavigne, she knows all I've been through with my stroke. She listened to everything I wanted to talk about and she talked to one of my family members to make them understand my memory loss and that I can't help getting frustrated when they are asking me a bunch of questions at once and I tend to loose track of what they are saying. She made them understand to talk slower and let me answer a question then ask the next question. I think Lisa Lavigne is a terrific doctor and I personally like her!!!

The nurse practitioner did her job absolutely well. Listened to all my needs and my health care problems. She is going to try something different with my medication she told me if it doesn't work she wants me to call the office right away and she will put me back on the same medication I was on. Such a wonderful conversation. A pleasure talking to her.

Why does Southcoast publish survey ratings online?
Southcoast is dedicated to providing patients and consumers with helpful information about the quality of our patients’ experiences. Star ratings published on our physician biography pages are based on actual responses from patients of that particular physician to patient satisfaction surveys that are distributed and processed by a national patient satisfaction survey vendor.

Who receives the survey?
Our vendor sends surveys via SMS or email to all patients seen in our outpatient physician practices who have a valid smart phone number or email address on file with Southcoast Health. Surveys are sent to patients within a few days of their appointment.

How is the Patient Satisfaction Star Rating Calculated?
Star ratings are calculated using an average of all survey responses to each of three questions: Courtesy and Respect of Staff, Provider Overall Rating, and Willingness to Recommend Provider’s Office. The star rating displayed on our physicians’ main biography page represents the average of the three measures for that particular physician.
