  • The appt was made in the timeframe I requested. Lyndsey was great at easing my mind about my condition.

  • This was my first annual physical with L.Sullivan, and she was attentive and helpful. I am very glad she will be my primary care provider from now on.Jessica, who administered my tetanus shot, was fantastic; she made me feel very comfortable and I liked her upbeat attitude. She is a keeper. I believe she normally works for another practitioner in the office, and was filling in for someone.

  • Honestly everything always goes smoothly when I visit and everyone is always friendly.

  • The appointment was scheduled specifically 4 months prior to check my A1C levels. In discussion with the primary I was told that the necessary equipment to do the test was broken. Therefore the reason for my appointment could not be done and that I had to schedule another appointment to get it done.

  • The care is great but the administrative part is getting annoying and repetitive. The intake person asks what my name, address and telephone number are then reads it back for verification like I didn't just say it out loud. Reads my emergency contact info then asks me to write them down and sign and date.need to update every year ". Maybe just read it out and if they're are no changes have the patient attest to that. The check out is perfect.

  • Everything on site so easy to schedule lab work etc. on same day as annual physical w PCP. Plenty of parking next to facility. Mostly courteous and respectful admin & office & lab staff. The televisions in the wait rooms for lab work are so intrusively loud and showing awful reality TV shows or soaps. A peaceful space to wait would be most welcome and greatly appreciated. A quiet room. Thank you for the opportunity to comment.

  • While this provider was excellent in listening and answering concerns, I now have no primary care physician since Dr. [Name] has left the practice and, given the number of issues that I am experiencing, I am not looking forward to having to "break in" someone new to my case.

Southcoast Health physician profiles now feature star ratings.  Below, you’ll find frequently asked questions about our process for calculating the ratings.

Why does Southcoast publish survey ratings online?
Southcoast is dedicated to providing patients and consumers with helpful information about the quality of our patients’ experiences. Star ratings published on our physician biography pages are based on actual responses from patients of that particular physician to patient satisfaction surveys that are distributed and processed by a national patient satisfaction survey vendor.

Who receives the survey?
Our vendor sends surveys via SMS or email to all patients seen in our outpatient physician practices who have a valid smart phone number or email address on file with Southcoast Health. Surveys are sent to patients within a few days of their appointment.

How is the Patient Satisfaction Star Rating Calculated?
Star ratings are calculated using an average of all survey responses to each of three questions: Courtesy and Respect of Staff, Provider Overall Rating, and  Willingness to Recommend Provider’s Office.  The star rating displayed on our physicians’ main biography page represents the average of the three measures for that particular physician.
