  • I am hoping next time she will not send us to a far place to pick up our prescriptions!!!

  • Everyone was so kind and took my child in immediately because he was in pain from an ear infection.

  • Absolutely wonderful experience with Dr. Prescott. This was the first time working with this provider. A fabulous addition to the office. Attentive, courteous, caring and informed on the processes for my daughter's care. Look forward to meeting her again

  • On time, sick patients separated from well patients, thorough questions and reasonable, sensible, clear guidance.

  • Dr Prescott is by far the best doctor I've ever had. She is caring, kind and friendly. She is absolutely wonderful.

  • Staff are accomodating and helpful

  • Dr. Prescott was great. Aside from Dr. Prescott, I am a bit upset that I received a call from southcoast at 7:15 on a Saturday night. The call came up as "Charlton" and it nearly gave me a panic attack thinking that something had happened.

  • Loved how excited Dr. Prescott was coming into the appt. about [Name] cochlear implant. We have had a hard and worrisome journey and she was so positive and enthusiastic about his qualification for an implant that it makes it so much more exciting for him and reassuring as parents!

  • The nurse really asked me if I needed two separate rooms for my boy/girl twins who are 14 and getting a physical. Who in a medical facility would even need to ask that the Dr was great but the nurse no thank you

  • We are very pleased with our child's care!

  • Love the doctors and nurses at your office. The administrative staff both for checking in and checking out have been not as professional or friendly. They usually seem disengaged, distracted and unhappy.

  • My daughter will be 8 in June and every time we've needed an emergency appointment, we are given an appointment extremely fast. As soon as we get there, we wait no more than 2 maybe 3 minutes at the most. Everyone is always nice and courteous, respectful, patient. We would... we would never want to go anywhere else. We love this facility. We love the doctors, the nurses, the receptionist. Thank you.

  • Very fast appointment for a sick visit.Appointment was at 9:15 and was done by 9:30.Dr Prescott was excellentu00A0

  • The visit was completed in timely manner and staff was respectful. Comparing to a visit a day earlier with a different provider for another patient, I felt it was shorter in time and not at thorough. Less was explained and visit seemed rushed.

  • Staff was courteous and seemed genuinely concerned about my child's welfare. They also seemed medically knowledgeable.

  • This provider was excellent. We had never met her. She stuck to the one topic of what illness he had today.

Southcoast Health physician profiles now feature star ratings.  Below, you’ll find frequently asked questions about our process for calculating the ratings.

Why does Southcoast publish survey ratings online?
Southcoast is dedicated to providing patients and consumers with helpful information about the quality of our patients’ experiences. Star ratings published on our physician biography pages are based on actual responses from patients of that particular physician to patient satisfaction surveys that are distributed and processed by a national patient satisfaction survey vendor.

Who receives the survey?
Our vendor sends surveys via SMS or email to all patients seen in our outpatient physician practices who have a valid smart phone number or email address on file with Southcoast Health. Surveys are sent to patients within a few days of their appointment.

How is the Patient Satisfaction Star Rating Calculated?
Star ratings are calculated using an average of all survey responses to each of three questions: Courtesy and Respect of Staff, Provider Overall Rating, and  Willingness to Recommend Provider’s Office.  The star rating displayed on our physicians’ main biography page represents the average of the three measures for that particular physician.
