  • Office called and my husband got a televisit right away (same day) so he was able to get his prescription for 3 months instead of one. He had not been able to go in because he doesn't drive and we have disabled daughter at home (usually at her day program but home because of pandemic) that makes it very hard to get to appointments. Staff was extremely helpful,very understanding and compassionate. Three things I think all of us should always try to be. Thank you so much! It really matters to our family.

She went out of her way to to make sure that I understood to explain, you know, best options, you know, but anyway, she was just very very bright ,very professional, and very great bed side manner and it was actually my first visit with her, but I felt very comfortable with her and I highly recommend her.

They also provided care for my dad, they are like family and were always so helpful and compassionate with his care. Dr [Name] even called us when my dad passed to offer condolences. Love this practice. They truly care about their patients

The provider himself and the NP, the professional staff, at Charlton, as in the Cath Lab, at the pre-op, at the lab. I was very impressed with how I was treated and how well informed I was kept and how much at ease I was kept. Although of course, everybody's nervous when they go through a procedure like a cardiac Cath and also, the follow the follow-up care. I would highly recommend Charlton Cardiology and the South Coast Cardiology office to any of my peers. And since I am a professional nurse myself, I think I have good judgment. Why does Southcoast publish survey ratings online?
Southcoast is dedicated to providing patients and consumers with helpful information about the quality of our patients’ experiences. Star ratings published on our physician biography pages are based on actual responses from patients of that particular physician to patient satisfaction surveys that are distributed and processed by a national patient satisfaction survey vendor.

Who receives the survey?
Our vendor sends surveys via SMS or email to all patients seen in our outpatient physician practices who have a valid smart phone number or email address on file with Southcoast Health. Surveys are sent to patients within a few days of their appointment.

How is the Patient Satisfaction Star Rating Calculated?
Star ratings are calculated using an average of all survey responses to each of three questions: Courtesy and Respect of Staff, Provider Overall Rating, and  Willingness to Recommend Provider’s Office.  The star rating displayed on our physicians’ main biography page represents the average of the three measures for that particular physician.
