About Kenath Shamir MD
A graduate of the Boston University School of Medicine, Dr. Shamir completed his residency in internal medicine at the University of Michigan Hospitals in Ann Arbor, Mich.
He is on the active medical staff at Charlton Memorial Hospital, where he has served as the chairman of the Department of Medicine. He is a member of the medical staff at Charlton Hospital and St. Anne’s Hospital.
Dr. Shamir is a member of the American College of Physicians, American Medical Association and the Massachusetts Medical Society.
He is board certified in internal medicine.

Dr. Shamir was very informative and he listen to all my questions and answered them so I could understand. It was my first visit with him and I must say he is very personable and informative. I think we hit it off well. He made me feel very comfortable. Right now, I am very happy I chose him for my PCP.

Lack of punctuality is the norm for this practice….. rarely have I seen the attending in less than thirty minutes after the med assistant has done his/ her intake.

It all went well
My appointment was scheduled for 3:20. I was with assistant immediately however then sat in a gown for over 30 minutes in room waiting for the doctor

Earnestness of efforts to warn me of all the shots, injections, and inoculations that are available that I don't think about. Dr. Shamir believes in the medicine of prevention before illness, while I believe in the medicine of cure after the body can't cure itself. Anyway, he's a great doctor.
