Kelly Gunn, DNP earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth in Dartmouth, MA. She then went on to further her education, earning her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree also from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. Her clinical interests include Rheumatology and primary care.
Kelly was inspired to become a Nurse Practitioner as she has always loved the unique emphasis on the health and well-being of the whole person. She chose rheumatology due to personal experiences as well as the fact that arthritis and other musculoskeletal problems are the leading causes of disability. She feels that being able to make a positive impact on a patient’s functional abilities is extremely rewarding.
Kelly’s personal philosophy of care is centered around treating every patient encounter as unique, while always respecting the needs of each individual. She aims to maintain trust and confidence when providing care, all while advocating for the needs of each patient and their family.
When not at work, Kelly enjoys spending time with her husband and three children at the local athletic fields. Kelly is a former member of the United States Air Force.
