About Keith Baldwin DO
Dr. Baldwin earned his bachelor’s degree from Allegheny College before completing his medical degree at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Pennsylvania. He also holds a degree in International Medicine and Public Health from the Institute for International Medicine in Kansas City, Mo.
Dr. Baldwin was Chief Resident at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield through the University of Massachusetts before completing a fellowship in Surgical Oncology from Roger Williams Cancer Center through Boston University School of Medicine. He also performed advanced microsurgery training at Columbia University.
He is board certified by the American Board of Surgery in General Surgery and the Society of Surgical Oncology, with a certificate in Surgical Oncology.
Dr. Baldwin’s specialties include endocrine surgery, general surgery, and surgical oncology.
In addition to spending time with his two young children, Dr. Baldwin enjoys playing guitar and singing for a number of local churches.

I am disabled and was in a wheel chair for my visit. I interacted with 5 people during my visit All were empathetic and helped me navigate through the office. Everyone was friendly and respectful.Dr Baldwin explained the procedure up front and in the process of completing the biopsy what he was doing. He answered all my questions and showed the image of my thyroid.Everyone seemed to work well together.Great Job Team!

Very professional office & employees
I am a very anxious person who rambles and uses dark humor to get through anxiety attacks. The staff matched my energy and helped me feel more comfortable throughout the visit. It was really cool to be able to watch the ultrasound screen as it was happening.
Dr Baldwin was friendly and personable. He was very timely and explained what was going to happen and how. It was a really great experience, especially having never had a biopsy before.

Dr. Baldwin explained things about my condition I did not know. He provided relevant information to help me understand my options so I can decide if & when surgery would be appropriate. I'm confident of his expertise with my condition and experience as endocrine surgeon. I feel more at about having to have surgery. Staff was very helpful too. It was nice to see him training the next generation (as a PharmD student was interning with him).

This was my first visit with Dr. Baldwin. I was so nervous but he explained step by step what was to be expected with care and consideration. I felt very safe in his hands...
