Fantastic, fantastic facility and the doctors are so wonderful but it is very hard to get an appointment in a timely fashion because they are so busy and I respect that but it makes it hard as a patient when I really need care. Everyone in the office is so knowledgeable and helpful and kind and once I get an appointment, my ear pain is always taken care of because they know exactly how to handle it and I am so grateful.

The front desk could have been more attentive and friendly. She was on the computer when I walked up. I did not get a greeting. She stared at computer and went straight to Name, who are you here to see etc. without looking up. Josh was excellent. He was thorough in asking questions. He was attentive and explained everything as he walked through procedure.

Entire staff was friendly and helpful, patient with my 97 year old father. We had no wait and Joshua was kind and caring with my dad.

I had vertigo and the PA was able to fully assist me as in the past I was always sent to physical therapy. It was great that it was all done at my visit than having to wait for a second appointment.

The nurse, audiologist & physicians assistant were all extremely kind and empathetic and talked to me like a person, not a patient. The only thing that could be improved was the checkout process. I was referred to one of 3 places (whichever had the soonest availability); the woman at checkout told me to call a number to schedule something. That number led me to a typical doctor office directory and I have no idea which option to press or what I'm supposed to do. It was not explained well and now I have to track down how to proceed.

Why does Southcoast publish survey ratings online?
Southcoast is dedicated to providing patients and consumers with helpful information about the quality of our patients’ experiences. Star ratings published on our physician biography pages are based on actual responses from patients of that particular physician to patient satisfaction surveys that are distributed and processed by a national patient satisfaction survey vendor.
Who receives the survey?
Our vendor sends surveys via SMS or email to all patients seen in our outpatient physician practices who have a valid smart phone number or email address on file with Southcoast Health. Surveys are sent to patients within a few days of their appointment.
How is the Patient Satisfaction Star Rating Calculated?
Star ratings are calculated using an average of all survey responses to each of three questions: Courtesy and Respect of Staff, Provider Overall Rating, and Willingness to Recommend Provider’s Office. The star rating displayed on our physicians’ main biography page represents the average of the three measures for that particular physician.
