  • Provider explained my condition and treatment and put my concerns at ease in a pleasant and caring manner.

  • Not only was I seen before my appointment time which was amazing but everyone was so sweet and welcoming and explained everything from beginning to end.   • During my visit everything was explained to me about my visit, results that were found during my visit and what will happen at my next visit. My next visit to see the speech pathologist and then the Dr following to explain what the pathologist had found was to be in 6 weeks but I was unable to be scheduled until 12 weeks later.

  • Josh was very knowledgeable and friendly. He answered all my questions and was very patient with me and made me feel comfortable the whole appointment. The scheduler for surgery was very helpful and went above and beyond to help find a date that accommodated my schedule. Window staff and nurses were all very kind. Overall this visit was very pleasant and I'd highly recommend this office to family and friends

  • My tele health was scheduled for 8:30 a.m. I had to call back 2 times to see when the doctor was going to call me. Only at 1:40 did I receive a call from the doctor. This is not acceptable. My time is very important as well and I put aside the time for this appointment.

And have been waiting 2 weeks to receive some materials the were promised twice and hasn't happened so far. South coast has dropped the ball for me on this issue

Why does Southcoast publish survey ratings online?
Southcoast is dedicated to providing patients and consumers with helpful information about the quality of our patients’ experiences. Star ratings published on our physician biography pages are based on actual responses from patients of that particular physician to patient satisfaction surveys that are distributed and processed by a national patient satisfaction survey vendor.

Who receives the survey?
Our vendor sends surveys via SMS or email to all patients seen in our outpatient physician practices who have a valid smart phone number or email address on file with Southcoast Health. Surveys are sent to patients within a few days of their appointment.

How is the Patient Satisfaction Star Rating Calculated?
Star ratings are calculated using an average of all survey responses to each of three questions: Courtesy and Respect of Staff, Provider Overall Rating, and  Willingness to Recommend Provider’s Office.  The star rating displayed on our physicians’ main biography page represents the average of the three measures for that particular physician.
