My experiences with SouthCoast have always been very positive. I drive about 50 minutes to be seen by the providers here. From check in to check out, everyone is pleasant, professional, friendly and knowledgeable. My questions are always answered promptly and completely. I highly recommend South Coast.

Everyone listens well and most importantly is never judgemental. It can be hard for people to be open about their struggles with weight control but here everyone makes it much more comfortable talking about weight and always being supportive and never passes judgment.

The time I have for appointments is for questions and communication about my care, focused on the primary purpose of solutions to health issues I have or may be encountering. I get the full attention of of staff during the period scheduled - none of the time with the doctor or nurse practitioner is spent filling out administrative/insurance questions about my health or on issues not central to providing quality care. I appreciate this exceptional care.

Everything about the services are top notch, from the clean, quiet and efficient waiting area to the prompt and pleasant attention I was given. The doctor herself was personable yet professional and although I feel I took more time than was scheduled she remained patient and attentive, as if I was her only client! I left feeling reassured about my health goals!

Ms. Breen had reviewed my file and prescriptions prior to the call, which allowed her to ask some probing questions, which were spot on. I wouldn't have brought up some dizziness i have been experiencing, as i didn't relate it to my weight loss, but Ms. Breen did. As a result, we are taking steps to figure out what is going on. I am very glad she is part of my health care team.

Why does Southcoast publish survey ratings online?
Southcoast is dedicated to providing patients and consumers with helpful information about the quality of our patients’ experiences. Star ratings published on our physician biography pages are based on actual responses from patients of that particular physician to patient satisfaction surveys that are distributed and processed by a national patient satisfaction survey vendor.
Who receives the survey?
Our vendor sends surveys via SMS or email to all patients seen in our outpatient physician practices who have a valid smart phone number or email address on file with Southcoast Health. Surveys are sent to patients within a few days of their appointment.
How is the Patient Satisfaction Star Rating Calculated?
Star ratings are calculated using an average of all survey responses to each of three questions: Courtesy and Respect of Staff, Provider Overall Rating, and Willingness to Recommend Provider’s Office. The star rating displayed on our physicians’ main biography page represents the average of the three measures for that particular physician.
