  • NP Jennifer Silva was excellent. It was the first time I met her and I wish she could be my primary care doctor. She had a nice demeanor and was upbeat. The front office staff at this place never smiles or makes you feel welcome. I have been going here for 20 years and I always think about changing. Ms. Silva told me to stop at the front desk to make my next appointment and when I got out there, there wasn't anyone behind the desk helping people who had finished their appointment. They were like, don't wait here. And I said I wanted to make my appointment for next year and they said, "Oh, we'll call you." ... I'll let you know when I get that call. Yeah right.

  • Everything was great at this visit, except the tech who did blood pressure couldn't seem to wear her mask correctly covering her nose. Have been unable to schedule a physics for this year, which is very frustrating as I lose money back from my insurance. It was never scheduled as usual in advance since my previous doctor left and by the time I realized I didn't have an appointment scheduled they couldn't fit me in for another 9 months (2021).

  • Jennifer Silva NP is extremely friendly and professional at the same time = which makes you feel very comfortable at your appointment - have no qualms about discussing health issues with her and I know she is alway showing concern or knowledge about what needs to be done if you are experiencing any health issues

  • This staff is doing an incredible job during an extraordinary time . Getting through to the front scheduling staff is challenging .. typical hold time before I give up is 30 minutes. I hope this can improve . I can only imagine how overwhelmed the staff is with the phones. Staff is efficient , authentic and kind . Thank you all!

  • I called to make an appt with Jen Silva and I was asked a few questions and told someone would call to schedule an appt, either in-person or television. That call came within minutes and the televisit was 20 minutes later. I was impressed with the expediency of the system and of course, Jen's care. She is knowledgeable, responsive and caring. I love this practice !

Southcoast Health physician profiles now feature star ratings.  Below, you’ll find frequently asked questions about our process for calculating the ratings.

Why does Southcoast publish survey ratings online?
Southcoast is dedicated to providing patients and consumers with helpful information about the quality of our patients’ experiences. Star ratings published on our physician biography pages are based on actual responses from patients of that particular physician to patient satisfaction surveys that are distributed and processed by a national patient satisfaction survey vendor.

Who receives the survey?
Our vendor sends surveys via SMS or email to all patients seen in our outpatient physician practices who have a valid smart phone number or email address on file with Southcoast Health. Surveys are sent to patients within a few days of their appointment.

How is the Patient Satisfaction Star Rating Calculated?
Star ratings are calculated using an average of all survey responses to each of three questions: Courtesy and Respect of Staff, Provider Overall Rating, and  Willingness to Recommend Provider’s Office.  The star rating displayed on our physicians’ main biography page represents the average of the three measures for that particular physician.
