About Jarvis Lambert

Dr. Lambert is a graduate of Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, D.C. He completed a residency in internal medicine at The New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center in New York City and cardiovascular fellowship at Boston Medical Center in Boston.

Dr. Lambert specializes in coronary artery disease, valvular disease, heart failure, arrhythmias and preventative cardiology. He is board certified in cardiovascular disease and a member of the American Heart Association.

He has practiced cardiology in Fall River and at Charlton Memorial Hospital for more than 12 years.

  • Dr. Lambert is a kind and caring physician. He's informative. He's knowledgeable. And he provides me with or is I should say provides must provide his patients with the information that they need to maintain their health.

  • The TeleHealth visit is extremely important especially for elderly who cannot mobilize easily. However, it is equally important to supplement with an in person visit at the home such as the visiting nurse to physically monitor and see the physical condition of the person.

  • You made an appt my normal location and sent me to another location because of covid. Instead of telling where to go in the first place

  • Taking the time to listen and providing me with the necessary information to help myself.

  • Yes, the transition to have a video on the phone was very easy, and ... and if you're not that com ... phone savvy, they really made it easy. All you had to do was just press the ... the text that they sent and everything opened up perfectly. So I was very pleased with that. Thank you.

  • There was a mix up with my appointment time. Nurse called much earlier to see if I could be "seen" at that time but I was busy and could not. Did not receive a call back at my appointed time and there seemed to be some confusion.

  • Happily, I have not experienced any changes in my cardiac condition during the shutdown -- no increased edema, no discomfort. I had my medication list in hand at the outset, and Dr. Lambert and I covered all bases, discussing testing for the next visit. Also, my allergist had used the telephone visit procedure in March, so I was familiar with the process.

  • my review with Dr. Lambert was excellent giving great detail. What can be done. What test can be done. Very respectful in great detail. That's what I love most of all and what my outcome will be or what he thought it would be. So first time I saw him and I would go back again. And also I would definitely have my family go to him. The front office listened carefully and scheduled and called me back within the hour after speaking to my cardiologist with a prescription and an appt for a phone call with my dr. He called as scheduled and was thorough and concise.

Why does Southcoast publish survey ratings online?
Southcoast is dedicated to providing patients and consumers with helpful information about the quality of our patients’ experiences. Star ratings published on our physician biography pages are based on actual responses from patients of that particular physician to patient satisfaction surveys that are distributed and processed by a national patient satisfaction survey vendor.

Who receives the survey?
Our vendor sends surveys via SMS or email to all patients seen in our outpatient physician practices who have a valid smart phone number or email address on file with Southcoast Health. Surveys are sent to patients within a few days of their appointment.

How is the Patient Satisfaction Star Rating Calculated?
Star ratings are calculated using an average of all survey responses to each of three questions: Courtesy and Respect of Staff, Provider Overall Rating, and  Willingness to Recommend Provider’s Office.  The star rating displayed on our physicians’ main biography page represents the average of the three measures for that particular physician.
