About Jarvis Lambert

Dr. Lambert is a graduate of Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, D.C. He completed a residency in internal medicine at The New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center in New York City and cardiovascular fellowship at Boston Medical Center in Boston.

Dr. Lambert specializes in coronary artery disease, valvular disease, heart failure, arrhythmias and preventative cardiology. He is board certified in cardiovascular disease and a member of the American Heart Association.

He has practiced cardiology in Fall River and at Charlton Memorial Hospital for more than 12 years.

[Name] the Medical Assistant is always patient focused, genuine, and she makes sure that she's not being intrusive when putting the heart monitor leads on for the EKG. She communicates very well with the patient. Dr. Lambert is one of the most caring, comprehensive, professional, knowledgeable, patient centric doctors I've ever met. I like that my blood pressure is now taken after the medical questions and the EKG versus when you first arrive to the treatment room. [Name] said they feel like they get a better reading and I agree as a patient. I appreciate that the doctor and his team continue to look at their procedures and adjust accordingly with the patients in mind. Thank you.

  • Wheel chair was not available without going all the way up to the Dr's office to get one and it was absolutely deplorable There was no support to the seat and no cushioning in the seat and one tire had at least 12 slices in it so it was riding on the plastic wheel. Not an easy job to push this up the two ramps with the patient in it.

  • We had two appointments one with the cardiologist and one with her PCP both doctors in the same office check-in and checking out used to be a breeze check in and check out now is a nightmare. You have somehow changed how the old procedure was to some sort of craziness it took us forever to get in and forever to get out. we saw two wonderful doctors, wonderful staff, but you ( the powers at be, SOUTHCOAST) have found a way to add stress where there was none.

  • First of all, the medical technician who took my EKG was very friendly and very professional and very quick. And then Dr. Lambert came in quickly, so there was ... there was no waiting around the exam room. Dr. Lambert is the best. I've been with him for many years. He's very relatable. You feel like he's a member of your family. You can ask any questions you want. He takes his time. He's not rushed to get out of there. He explains things carefully. Can't say enough good things about Dr. Lambert.

Dr. Lambert was able to squeeze me in for a last minute appointment before surgery and he was well prepared with what my situation was knew all my records very accommodating and...concerned about knowing and... what was happening and what the future goals were and what we needed to do to go forward and by the time I left all my questions were answered and he put in for some consultation with the orthopedic doctor that I need to see and follow through with everything so he's wonderful and I would definitely refer people to him as a physician.   • I felt that I waited too long in the examination room (10+minutes)to be seen when considering COVID concerns about ventilation. Doctor apologized for the delay even though I didn't mention it.This has not been my experience in the past, so I don't know how much weight to put on today's delay.I was on hold for checking from the car for 7 minutes. The commercials were for Southcoast not cardiology so I grew increasingly concerned that I was not holding on the correct line. I did not want to hang up and try again because I didn't want to lose my place in line on the phone wait list.I hope these comments are helpful.

  • Yes, the call with Dr. Lambert was fine. I met him for the first time, and he was pretty intelligent about my situation, and he's looking forward to find some ways that perhaps helping me out with my heart problem. So, I have to go for a nuclear test come in Monday and we'll go from there, and see what happens. Thank you.

Why does Southcoast publish survey ratings online?
Southcoast is dedicated to providing patients and consumers with helpful information about the quality of our patients’ experiences. Star ratings published on our physician biography pages are based on actual responses from patients of that particular physician to patient satisfaction surveys that are distributed and processed by a national patient satisfaction survey vendor.

Who receives the survey?
Our vendor sends surveys via SMS or email to all patients seen in our outpatient physician practices who have a valid smart phone number or email address on file with Southcoast Health. Surveys are sent to patients within a few days of their appointment.

How is the Patient Satisfaction Star Rating Calculated?
Star ratings are calculated using an average of all survey responses to each of three questions: Courtesy and Respect of Staff, Provider Overall Rating, and  Willingness to Recommend Provider’s Office.  The star rating displayed on our physicians’ main biography page represents the average of the three measures for that particular physician.
