About Jane Miniutti

Dr. Miniutti is a family practice physician with Tiverton Family Medicine, a practice of Southcoast Physicians Group in Tiverton, R.I.

She earned her doctor of osteopathic medicine from Kansas City University in Kansas City, Mo.

She completed an internship at Lutheran Medical Center in New York City and a residency at Maine-Dartmouth Family Practice in Lebanon, N.H., and Lewiston, Maine.

Dr. Miniutti has been practicing in Tiverton for more than 18 years. She serves as medical director for the Tiverton and Little Compton, R.I. school departments.

  • Dr. Miniutti is always on time. She's very attentive. She always knows your health information is up to date, and she finds a solution that suits your condition. If she can't find the answer, she refers you out to someone who can.

  • Was seen without appointment for poison ivy on the face.

  • When I arrived there was no one at the front desk. There was one person with her back turned on the phone and helping another patient. The person who was supposed to be at the front desk was talking so I had to bang on the window to get her attention.

  • Dr Minutti said she would have my prescription sent to the pharmacy and I could go pick it up. After waiting 4 days to hear that prescription was ready I went to the pharmacy. They never received the prescription request. I called Dr Minutti’s office. The staff said doctor ordered prescription, but staff didn’t have a pharmacy listed in my file, so they never sent it. This is unacceptable. The staff should have called and asked me. It has now been 5 days. It still hasn’t happened. Very unprofessional.

  • My Doctor knew my diagnosis immediately. Gave me a prescription for the Shingles and is very positive in her attitude. I like that.

  • Office staff and lab staff were very efficient and professional. Dr. Miniutti was on time, prepared,spent time to listen to opinions and concerns, asked appropriate questions,explained all information in detail. Scheduling was easy, convenient and flexible. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone looking for a caring and professional primary care office.

  • I had mentioned on my entrance paperwork that I wanted a Dermatology referral for various skin concerns and I left my appt. without reminding my primary care and it was never brought up. Hopefully on my return visit in 2months I will address this again.Otherwise, I was very satisfied with the care I received.

  • PC needs to follow through more on patient’s care. Know the patient’s medical background and past recommendations. Too hurried. Too superficial.

Why does Southcoast publish survey ratings online?
Southcoast is dedicated to providing patients and consumers with helpful information about the quality of our patients’ experiences. Star ratings published on our physician biography pages are based on actual responses from patients of that particular physician to patient satisfaction surveys that are distributed and processed by a national patient satisfaction survey vendor.

Who receives the survey?
Our vendor sends surveys via SMS or email to all patients seen in our outpatient physician practices who have a valid smart phone number or email address on file with Southcoast Health. Surveys are sent to patients within a few days of their appointment.

How is the Patient Satisfaction Star Rating Calculated?
Star ratings are calculated using an average of all survey responses to each of three questions: Helpfulness of Clerks & Receptionists, Provider Overall Rating, and  Willingness to Recommend Provider’s Office.  The star rating displayed on our physicians’ main biography page represents the average of the three measures for that particular physician.
