About Jaimie Reed

Dr. Jaimie Reed earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and her medical degree from the University of Massachusetts Medical School in Worcester. She completed her residency in St. Petersburg, Florida at Bayfront Health Family Medicine with a concentration in outpatient medicine, pediatrics and sport medicine.

Dr. Reed is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and Massachusetts Medical Society. She enjoys outdoor activities, traveling to new places, and spending time with her family in New England.

This provider was very proactive with making sure I got my annual checkup as I had missed it last year. Dr. Reed was well aware of my past health issues and was proactive about getting me dealing with some chronic pain due to fibroid issues that I've been having and making sure that I saw the specialist that I needed to see. All the support staff were very friendly, helpful, no wait time, and yeah, courteous, friendly. Nothing but good things to report. Thank you.

The medical assistant was great, very pleasant and efficient. Dr Reed was just lovely. She is thorough and has such a good bedside manner. Dr Reed spoke to my 12 year old in a very friendly and age appropriate way. She addressed my son but also me when appropriate. She seems like she does great working with all demographics. We are so happy to have her.

My entire experience was very, very satisfactory. I came out of the appointment and I was really pleased that I went to the doctor's office, where usually I don't like doctor's visits. But everybody was very courteous, very pleasant, smiling, and doing everything that they could to make me comfortable. And I was even there early, and they took me early, five minutes earlier than my appointment time. So, yes, I would recommend your office and my doctor to anybody I can find. Thank you very much. The lady at the front desk when I checked in was not understanding when I asked if the doctor would be willing to wear a mask since I live with someone who is very ill and extremely vulnerable to Covid. She told me "Everyone here in this office doesn't wear masks anymore." I believe this attitude makes it very hard for people like me to feel safe coming to a healthcare facility.

Why does Southcoast publish survey ratings online?
Southcoast is dedicated to providing patients and consumers with helpful information about the quality of our patients’ experiences. Star ratings published on our physician biography pages are based on actual responses from patients of that particular physician to patient satisfaction surveys that are distributed and processed by a national patient satisfaction survey vendor.

Who receives the survey?
Our vendor sends surveys via SMS or email to all patients seen in our outpatient physician practices who have a valid smart phone number or email address on file with Southcoast Health. Surveys are sent to patients within a few days of their appointment.

How is the Patient Satisfaction Star Rating Calculated?
Star ratings are calculated using an average of all survey responses to each of three questions: Courtesy and Respect of Staff, Provider Overall Rating, and Willingness to Recommend Provider’s Office. The star rating displayed on our physicians’ main biography page represents the average of the three measures for that particular physician.
