At Southcoast Health, we strive to deliver exceptional patient care along with an exceptional patient experience. We appreciate all of your feedback and share your comments to recognize the wonderful care our teams provide to you as well as identify areas for improvement.

  • I feel like I was listened to, and that the nurse practitioner was well informed about my health background.

  • Jacqueline,u00A0NP was extremely pleasant, listened and was thorough.

  • I was very... very happy with the doctor. She listened to me. We had a good conversation. I felt like she saw me and like I was connected. And we she addressed everything that was important to me. So she was really good. I appreciated visiting with Jackie.

  • Provider listened well, she was very helpful.

  • The NP was very pleasant, listened to my concerns and very helpful. She is definitely a 10!!!

  • Saw PAu00A0in Dr. [Name] office. She was wonderful. Listened carefully and took lots of time with me.

  • The concerns I had were addressed and in an easy to understand way.

  • The patient room smells like cigarette, smoke steals, to make cigarette smoke when I mentioned it to the MAA there. She said that it was because she had been smoking outside at lunch, but the strong strong smell and the NT didn't listen to what I had to say. So it was a useless visit. Thank you.

  • Jackie was amazing and very understanding of my situation.

  • They were concerned and got me into more test at another location on the same day and quickly contacted me with the results.

  • The visit went very well - on time, covered the purpose of the visit. PA was personable and concerned. No problems.

  • The provider was very intelligent. She was very informed. She was very kind and polite, and she seemed to want to do the best she could to help us in the situation that we were in, and she was very helpful. She did take our history, and she did listen very carefully. My husband has ... hard of hearing, in fact, he can't here and has to read lips. And she spoke very loudly and used hand gestures to help him. I thought she went out of her way to be helpful to him. And he really appreciated the extra care that she gave him. I would recommend her, as a healthcare provider, for anyone because she seemed to be the kind of person you would like to have when you're going through a hard time, because she's going to do the best she can to help you in your situation.

  • Love the facility and staff

  • Prompt efficient and knowledgeable very through on exam and questions friendly courtesy

  • Everything and everyone was great. Thanks!

  • Required lab work but could not make an appointment (fasting) sooner then a week and a half. By then I would have finished my prescription before confirming diagnosis. Which sounds backwards to me.

  • Jackie Rosa was extremely attentive and very professional. I felt that she listened to me and appreciated my concerns.

  • I had an issue that needed a specialist. A splinter that was completely closed up and causing pain. I explained that to the person who answered the phone. Instead of getting a call back from a nurse or doctor, I was given an appointment to see a PA. I took time out of work and go to the appointment to be told there was nothing that could be done there and had to refer me to a hand surgeon. If someone had called me back instead of scheduling this appointment, I could have saved time, money and gotten my appointment sooner with the hand surgeon. It is the fault of whomever chose to make an appointment instead of calling me back as I was told.

  • There's been no follow up or continuity of care. Thank you.

  • I feel like I see someone different every time I go in. I have to explain myself every time I go in.

  • I'm waiting for the nurse practitioner get back to me with the results of the problem I believe she went above and beyond and I'm satisfied with the answers I have received sofa waiting for the bottom line

  • Everything was done the way it should be very nice facility. I like the nurse practitioner Jackie Rosa. I like Dr. [Name], I like the whole. I like the whole staff. Thank you.

  • I was very satisfied with my visit

  • Jackie is great. All the staff from check-in to the lab very friendly. Jackie makes you feel very comfortable. I would highly recommend her to all my family and friends.

  • A copay should not be requested before services are provided

  • Quick appointment at the short notice.

  • Did everything well very helpful and informative

  • Dr has empathy and understands my situation!!

  • My physical was very professional and my dr answered all of questions and concerns I was extremely worried about thank you all for a great appointment!!!

  • All staff were very professional.

  • NP Jacqueline Rosa is seriously the best! My biggest fear is doctors offices and she helped make me feel so comfortable and addressed every question and concern I had. She took her time and didn't rush me at all. I am so thankful to be under her care and she ordered labs to go through everything.

  • Always professional and listen to my concerns and address them

  • I was disappointed at how many things are on my chart that I really don't believe should be on my chart in terms of conditions. I wish there was a way to deal with that.

  • Up to now, I am well satisfied.

  • I waited 40 minutes to be seen by the provider for less than 10 minutes. She didn't listen at all. I felt like I was an item on a checklist that she was trying to get through.

Southcoast Health physician profiles now feature star ratings.  Below, you’ll find frequently asked questions about our process for calculating the ratings.

Why does Southcoast publish survey ratings online?
Southcoast is dedicated to providing patients and consumers with helpful information about the quality of our patients’ experiences. Star ratings published on our physician biography pages are based on actual responses from patients of that particular physician to patient satisfaction surveys that are distributed and processed by a national patient satisfaction survey vendor.

Who receives the survey?
Our vendor sends surveys via SMS or email to all patients seen in our outpatient physician practices who have a valid smart phone number or email address on file with Southcoast Health. Surveys are sent to patients within a few days of their appointment.

How is the Patient Satisfaction Star Rating Calculated?
Star ratings are calculated using an average of all survey responses to each of three questions: Courtesy and Respect of Staff, Provider Overall Rating, and  Willingness to Recommend Provider’s Office.  The star rating displayed on our physicians’ main biography page represents the average of the three measures for that particular physician.
