About Jacqueline Rosa

Jacqueline Rosa received her Master of Science in Nursing: Family Nurse Practitioner from the University of Rhode Island and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Rhode Island College.

She is certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support by the American Heart Association. Jacqueline is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She is licensed in both Rhode Island and Massachusetts.

Her clinical interests include chronic illnesses and women’s health. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family and dog, cheering on New England sport teams and knitting.

  • a very easy to navigate setting with good staff.

  • Person who checked us in/ out at front desk was not very friendly or welcoming. This was my first /last interaction upon entering/exiting the building, also the worst. The np was very good with my son who has special needs

  • The NP Jacqueline Rosa was awesome. She was very understanding of my son's condition at the office and used caution and compassion to treat my son. The nurse however who took my son's vital signs was quite disappointing. We've had the same nurse multiple times and I feel as though I never get an accurate weight or height on my son even when he is very cooperative. She guessed his height based on him walking by a tape measure on the wall and was off by at least 5 inches. This is not the first time it has happened. She has miss read his weight by 4 lbs as well in a previous visit. It is just disappointing as these are the basics. I will continue to attend the office as I love the doctor and both NP on staff they are absolutely wonderful but I've been quite frustrated with the nursing staff.

  • Faster answering of phone and faster call backs. Prescribing the least expensive medication ,not the most expensive.

  • Care when seen for appointment was excellent but calling about an issue was tedious and very time-consuming ( ie : very long wait time holding via phone trying to get to talk to nurse and told I would get callback) But missed getting to phone and message left just said to call office again, then repeat above. Would have liked the return message to have been more informative instead of repeating calls,

Why does Southcoast publish survey ratings online?
Southcoast is dedicated to providing patients and consumers with helpful information about the quality of our patients’ experiences. Star ratings published on our physician biography pages are based on actual responses from patients of that particular physician to patient satisfaction surveys that are distributed and processed by a national patient satisfaction survey vendor.

Who receives the survey?
Our vendor sends surveys via SMS or email to all patients seen in our outpatient physician practices who have a valid smart phone number or email address on file with Southcoast Health. Surveys are sent to patients within a few days of their appointment.

How is the Patient Satisfaction Star Rating Calculated?
Star ratings are calculated using an average of all survey responses to each of three questions: Courtesy and Respect of Staff, Provider Overall Rating, and  Willingness to Recommend Provider’s Office.  The star rating displayed on our physicians’ main biography page represents the average of the three measures for that particular physician.
