About Jacob Winograd MD
Jacob Winograd, MD obtained his Doctor of Medicine from Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey. He then continued his medical education at Brown University, completing the Internal Medicine Residency and Kidney Disease & Hypertension Fellowship at the Brown Alpert Medical School in Providence, Rhode Island.
His clinical interests include kidney disease, hypertension, kidney stones and dialysis.
Dr. Winograd prides himself on providing his patients the knowledge and understanding they need to make the best decisions to improve their health and quality of life. He enjoys how specializing in nephrology allows him to take a holistic approach to medicine to help improve outcomes with early intervention to prevent disease.
He views Southcoast Health as an essential partner in the community, committed to empowering passionate physicians to deliver exceptional care.
When not caring for patients, he enjoys gardening, wood working and taking part in various outdoor activities.

All the staff is wonderful and very helpful and friendly. Dr. Winograd is very knowledgeable & professional but he also speaks to you with everyday terms you can understand...I think he is a great..I would certainly recommend to family, friends and others..

Dr. Winograd is a dedicated, excellent doctor who took time to listen to me, explained everything to me clearly, answered all of my questions and is patient and understanding.
This Dr. is always pleasant. Very informative& doesn't just stick to his speciality. I always feel much better when I leave the office. All office staff are nice. & helpful. If only other physicians were more like this one, instead of just staring at the computer & rushing through the appt.

Dr Winograd painstakingly takes the time to clearly explain your medical condition, options, and recommendations. He has incredible bedside, manners, and genuinely cares for his patients. He treats each patient as an individual and at the time you are being treated by him, you have his full attention. He comes across kind, concerned, and demonstrates empathy.
The ma was very professional and very helpful with my disability and the girl took my blood was very good I'm usually a hard person get blood thank you for great service

My experience was perfect
The appointment could not have gone better. When I hot there I was offered s mask because they said their was s nasty flu going around. So I took the mask. Dr. Winograd went over all of my test and asked me a few times if I had any questions. It was very through.

The appointment was timely. Probing questions were asked to help my doctor understand my condition. Dr Winograd was extremely knowledgable regarding all aspects of my condition discussing the pro's and con's of treatment options. He was kind and genuinely concerned about me as if I was the only patient he had.

Computer info was current and accurate. The initial contact at check-in was timely. The pre-screening was quick and efficient. No delay in Dr. arrival. Dr. was very good at allaying any fears. Lab tests were ordered and completed with efficiency.
