About Jacob Winograd MD
Jacob Winograd, MD obtained his Doctor of Medicine from Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey. He then continued his medical education at Brown University, completing the Internal Medicine Residency and Kidney Disease & Hypertension Fellowship at the Brown Alpert Medical School in Providence, Rhode Island.
His clinical interests include kidney disease, hypertension, kidney stones and dialysis.
Dr. Winograd prides himself on providing his patients the knowledge and understanding they need to make the best decisions to improve their health and quality of life. He enjoys how specializing in nephrology allows him to take a holistic approach to medicine to help improve outcomes with early intervention to prevent disease.

Yes, Dr. Winograd and his assistant are both knowledgeable in what they do and respectful of people who visit them. Dr. Winagrad is very knowledgeable about my folder. As soon as I walk in, he understood the entire history and that helps to manage it, unlike what I see with some other providers who ask me what the problem was instead of reading my history to see what my problems were. So I appreciate the fact that he looks into my folder and he understands my history and works with it. Thank you.

Dr. Winograd is an exceptional istener who provide candid advice and suggestion which I follow judiciously. He understands the full scope of health issues that I am dealing with at 89 years and is always encouraging. He phones promptly when blood tests results are available and answers any questions I may have. He represents the epitomy of what I admire in a physician.

He treats each patient as an individual and at the time you are being treated by him, you have his full attention. He comes across kind, concerned, and demonstrates empathy.

The appointment could not have gone better. When I hot there I was offered s mask because they said their was s nasty flu going around. So I took the mask. Dr. Winograd went over all of my test and asked me a few times if I had any questions. It was very through.

The appointment was timely. Probing questions were asked to help my doctor understand my condition. Dr Winograd was extremely knowledgable regarding all aspects of my condition discussing the pro's and con's of treatment options. He was kind and genuinely concerned about me as if I was the only patient he had.
