Jacob Winograd, MD obtained his Doctor of Medicine from Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey. He then continued his medical education at Brown University, completing the Internal Medicine Residency and Kidney Disease & Hypertension Fellowship at the Brown Alpert Medical School in Providence, Rhode Island.
His clinical interests include kidney disease, hypertension, kidney stones and dialysis.
Dr. Winograd prides himself on providing his patients the knowledge and understanding they need to make the best decisions to improve their health and quality of life. He enjoys how specializing in nephrology allows him to take a holistic approach to medicine to help improve outcomes with early intervention to prevent disease.

When not caring for patients, he enjoys gardening, wood working and taking part in various outdoor activities.

My experience was perfect
The appointment could not have gone better. When I hot there I was offered s mask because they said their was s nasty flu going around. So I took the mask. Dr. Winograd went over all of my test and asked me a few times if I had any questions. It was very through.

The staff was so kind and put me at ease. When I go to Southcoast Neprhology I always feel comfortable. The Medical Assistant is wonderful and remembered me. That says a lot. Dr. Winograd is outstanding and is an excellent dr. He has been so kind, so caring and so informative and answered every question I had. He's a great doctor.
The appointment was timely. Probing questions were asked to help my doctor understand my condition. Dr Winograd was extremely knowledgable regarding all aspects of my condition discussing the pro's and con's of treatment options. He was kind and genuinely concerned about me as if I was the only patient he had.
Hanover building needs better signage. It's a very confusing building.

Computer info was current and accurate. The initial contact at check-in was timely. The pre-screening was quick and efficient. No delay in Dr. arrival. Dr. was very good at allaying any fears. Lab tests were ordered and completed with efficiency.
Dr. Winograd listens to me always attentively and always makes me feel like he hears what I'm saying and does the best he can to help me with my issues.
Staff always pleasant. This physician is one of the best. Actually listens & teaches. Stops looking at the computer, to talk and listen to the patient.

It was my first appointment with, Dr. Winograd. He listened to all of my concerns. He answered all of my questions completely. He told me I could reach him on My Chart if I had any further questions or concerns. He seemed interested and he was very respectful.

Way finding in facility is confusing. Had difficulty finding where to go after entering building and then also when on floor Found number of patients confused on where to go and register for specific practice and or for tests.
