Dr. Ilana Feinerman is an otolaryngologist and head and neck surgeon with Southcoast Physicians Group in North Dartmouth, Mass. After receiving her medical degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo, Dr. Feinerman completed an internship in general surgery and residency in otolaryngology/head and neck surgery at Tufts Medical Center in Boston.

Dr. Feinerman is board certified by the American Academy of Otolaryngology.

Listen more to what the patient is saying and don't dismiss the patient's subjective complaints just because you think it's not bad enough. You can't feel my pain. I shouldn't be told to live with something when we don"t even know what's wrong. It was a completely wasted visit of my time and your time.

Dr. Feinerman is always excellent with the care and concern she provides. She was very kind speaking with my son and explaining what she was doing before the procedure he had. She listened to every concern I had and was able to really navigate around it and figure out the cause of my son's pain. I am very happy my son was able to see her today. In addition her support staff and the administrative staff were equally excellent.

There is always in office waiting time to see this provider and then waiting time to be tested (a coordinated appt) and then a wait to see the Dr again. Guessing she is very popular and has an extremely full schedule, but I never feel rushed once in the exam or testing rooms.

This was my first visit to Southcoast ,and I was very impressed with the care I was given by everyone I met. They listened and were very friendly and gave me a very good feeling. I had been recommended by two close friends who were patients there. Glad I took their advice. Why does Southcoast publish survey ratings online?
Southcoast is dedicated to providing patients and consumers with helpful information about the quality of our patients’ experiences. Star ratings published on our physician biography pages are based on actual responses from patients of that particular physician to patient satisfaction surveys that are distributed and processed by a national patient satisfaction survey vendor.

Who receives the survey?
Our vendor sends surveys via SMS or email to all patients seen in our outpatient physician practices who have a valid smart phone number or email address on file with Southcoast Health. Surveys are sent to patients within a few days of their appointment.

How is the Patient Satisfaction Star Rating Calculated?
Star ratings are calculated using an average of all survey responses to each of three questions: Courtesy and Respect of Staff, Provider Overall Rating, and Willingness to Recommend Provider’s Office. The star rating displayed on our physicians’ main biography page represents the average of the three measures for that particular physician.
